You are our first child. Our first son. Our first everything, really. In the years to come, we will teach you so much, but you have already taught us infinite amounts. You have taught us what it is to be fathers. You have taught us to be selfless. You have taught us pure love. You have taught me that it is possible to have a piece of my heart outside of my body. And it's such a scary thing, but more than that, it's beautiful. And we still have so much to learn. Thank you for being the one with whom me and your Papa get to experience all of these firsts.
