Year 2019 (flashback)
"My baby" kentrell smiled sitting at the end of the hospital bed hearing the baby's heart beat for the first time
"See there he or she is" the doctor said smiling as she moved the thing around on my stomach
I was now 8 weeks and showing just a little
"What chu think the baby gon be bae?" Kentrell asked turning to me
"Ion know maybe a boy" I said shrugging
"I think it's a girl" he smiled rubbing his hands down his face
"Why you say that?" I asked laughing
He turned to me and gave me that remember wall onna tuesday look
I scrunched up my lips turning away from him
"Alrighty I'll just run some test and you'll be good to go" my gyn said smiling as she pulled out at a long ass needle
"Oh no ma'am ion mess with needles" I said shaking my head as I got up throwing my legs over the bed
"We need this for your blood test to see if you have any diseases and what kind of blood type you have" she said walking closer
"Em em" I mumbled scooting to get up
"Ma it's just a little poke" kentrell laugh pulling me down
"But you know ion do needles" I whined as my eyes got watery
"Is she about to cr-
"Ma'am don't worry bout ha dramatic ass stick the needle in" he said as he gripped on my waist holding me down
"No kentrell" I whined hitting his arm as the lady finally got in front of me
"It's going to be fine just don't think about it" the gyn mumbled
"Don't think-
Before I could finish she stuck the needle inside my arm and took some blood
I started crying as kentrell laughed recording me , He always be doing me dirty
"See all done" the gyn smiled putting a bandaid over it
"All done" I mumbled sniffling as I wiped my eyes
"Big ass cry baby" kentrell laughed making me mug him
"Shut up" I mumbled rubbing my face
"Oh now you mad you was just crying" he said stank facing me
"Hormones , your going to have to deal with that for the next 9 months"
"Oh fuck no" he mumbled making me look up at him mugging
"So you gon leave me" I whispered yelled as I bust out crying
"No ma you talking crazy" kentrell said hugging me
"I just...I'm sorry" I mumbled wiping my eyes
"Mr.gaulden may I please talk to you outside for a moment" my gyn said making me pout
"Y'all finna go talk yall shit" I said wiping my nose
"No we not guh" kentrell mumbled before they walked out
I sat on the bed swinging my legs this crying shit is not working

"So I want to help you and your girlfriend" the gyn said holding her clipboard
"Wife" I corrected her putting my hands in my jacket
"Oh okay your wife I got you" she said smiling making me nod
"From what I've observed in there she might start going threw bad mood swings or depression" she said making me scratch my head
"Well what can I do to help her?" I asked looking around
"There's no way you can really help her but I could give you a prescription for duloxetine pills if that's what..you'll like"
I sighed licking my lips "Ight I'll take it" I mumbled making her nod
We walked back in the room to see autumn ass leaning back mugging the door
"Y'all done or are y'all finished?" she asked
"Done" the gyn said smiling as she printed out some papers
Autumn grabbed my hand pulling me over to her
"Here you go mr.gaulden" the gyn said handing me the prescription
"Thank you" I mumbled taking it before autumn could get ahold
"Your blood test has just came in ,you guys are free to go" the gyn smiled turning to us
"Book your next appointment upfront sweetie" the gyn said rubbing autumn's back as I helped her down off the bed
She nodded
I opened up the door letting autumn walk out first
"Kentrell take me to my dorm" she mumbled laying her head on my shoulder as we walked to the front
"Nooo come back to the hotel wimme tonight" I said mugging as I looked down at her
"I got classes in the morning trell I can't be missing shit before I go on maternity leave and you know this" she said pouting
I sighed rubbing my hands down my face "I'll wake you up early and take you back"
"But-"
"But what autumn I leave in like 2 days and I want to spend my last here with chu and da baby" I said
She breathed out looking away "fine kentrell have it your way" she mumbled making me smile
"We gon have fun bubba don't worry"
"By you saying that you just made me worry" she said rubbing her stomach
We gon have some real fun hope it don't hurt kind...
