Moving Out

Joes pov;
Everything's sorted, ready to leave.
I left my empty room and plodded down the stairs into the kitchen where Zoe and dad had prepared waffles for me.
"Morning sleepyhead" dad smiled. I returned the smile.
"Zoe can I speak with you out side?"
I padded out of the door into the corridor and Zoe followed like a puppy.
"I'm moving to London, don't tell dad though"
Her eyes filled with tears
"Why" she sobbed
"Because it was gonna happen one day" I forced a smile
"Is everything sorted, packed?"
"Yeah I've done it this week"
"What time you going"
"Two hours" I said sadly
"Omg Joe" she cried and pulled me into the tightest hug I've ever experienced.
"I'll call a.."
"WHAT YOU TWO DOING IN THERE?" dad shouted from the other side of the door.
"Nothing!" we replied in sync
Both wiping our eyes we walked in to finish our pancakes.
2 hours later
"I'll text you when I get there okay?" I promised Zoe.
"I'll miss you broseph" her eyes are running like a river by now
"I'll miss you too you little poo" I held back the tears trying to break free.
"Tell dad when he gets home. tell him I'm okay and I'm safe okay?"
"Okay"
I walked down the path leading to my 'old house' towards the taxi what already had my two suitcases filled with clothes, old family photos, hair products and essentials I would need.
Waving goodbye to Zoe I pulled out my phone and took a photo of my old house with Zoe out side.
'goodbye home'
