As I stood there my cries became quite be the minute the long arm was still wrapped around me in a comforting hug. My brain was still trying to get past the fact that it was Professor Snape, who was hugging me. The feeling of being safe and secure in his arms was very strange to me as I have hardly felt comfort from people when I was upset or crying. The biggest fear of all was what was about to happen when I have stopped cry or when Snape lets go of me and confronts me about the events that have just been revealed to him.
After a couple of seconds later, I felt his body stiffen and strong hands being placed on my arms and pulling me carefully out of the embrace. His dark eyes met mine, my eyes scanned over his face to see what he was feeling or either thinking but his face was unreadable he was so good at hiding what he was thinking or his emotions. searching deep in his black eyes as I saw a slight flicker or hurt and sadness, as he notices that I had seen his slight emotions he changed them back as quickly as it has appeared. His smooth, velvety voice came out of nowhere and shocked me slightly as he said,
"Who was that man?"
His question caught me off guard, as I thought he would know.
"T-T-That thing is was call my Father." I stuttered with hate lacing my voice.
His face flickered with a quick-expression that I couldn't place.
"Well sir, I think I best be getting off thankyou for everything," I said sighing up and turning my face back to my stone exterior
"Y/N? before you leave I still have a couple of questions for you." his voice sounded throughout the room stopping my from leaving, I turned back to him to show him I was listening again and he continued "I need to ask if Professor Dumbledore knows about this or anyone else for that matter?"
"No sir, Professor Dumbledore does not know of this and the only other person who knows is my mother and well... I guess you do know, It's my deepest secret that I have kept my whole life." I said feeling my tear rising again causing me to look towards the ceiling to prevent them from falling.
"I'm sorry to inform you Miss L/N but we will have to inform him, but I want you to know that he will be very understanding and I am grateful you have had the trust to well... tell me" He said making me jump, not just at the face that I need to tell Dumbledore but that he was being kinder to me than I have ever seen him be with anyone. Nodding my head to show I understand he made his way over to the classroom door and opens it for me and says,
"shall we?"
With that, I made my way over to him and gave him a quick smile and we both headed towards Professor Dumbledores office in complete silence.
