Never Knew

Chapter One

Camryn Forbes was currently sipping her strawberry lemonade with a hint of vodka. She was back in town for one day and chatted with her friends at a party that kicked off summer. Now she was at the grill waiting till her sister came so they can go home together. Someone sat across from her at her booth,looking up she saw a handsome man with jet black hair and blue eyes.

Gulping nervously,she pushed her drink slightly away from her. For a glimpse second he stared at her with a wide eyed expression.

"Um-" Was what came out of her mouth. The man composed himself and smirked.

Damon followed his brother into town and didn't expect to run into a beauty. Looking at her soft face,he noticed she had freckles. Her gray green eyes shined in the moonlight and her cute button nose was pink due to her being cold. When she was shocked by his good looks it made him smirk. "Hello there"

"I probably look like a idiot right now" Camryn was giggling nervously.

Damon chuckled and Camryn shifted in the seat. "I won't lie and say i'm not used to woman reacting like this to me"

Rolling her eyes she sighed. "Maybe your a little to cocky"

She saw one of his brows raise. "That's never been a problem"

"Now it is" Too cocky Camryn thought to herself. Damon said her slowly lose interest in him and look at her phone.

"How about I fix that by telling you about myself?" Camryn contemplated his offer.

It was 9:45 and her mom wasn't expecting her and Caroline till 11:00. "Alright then,don't make me regret it"

Damon smirked. "I won't,I promise" Camryn held out her pinky and it made Damon chuckle at the childish motion.

"I'll leave if you don't wrap your pinky around mines" She said rolling her eyes at his chuckle.

Damon finally did it. Afterwards he contemplated what to talk to her about without revealing his secret.

Camryn got a text from Caroline talking about how she should've stayed at the party longer. While she was texting her sister Damon watched her face change. He watched her expressions change every time her phone chimed,then she would start typing.

"What's got you doing an 360 on your expressions?" He asked. Camryn looked up at him before typing again.

"My sister is texting me and I just hope she doesn't show up late to meet me"

"Why's that?"

"Because our mom thinks we're together over a friends house" Damon remembered when him and Stefan lied to their dad a couple times for a night out with friends.

"Let me guess,she is most likely thinking about hanging out with some boy after the party"

Camryn widened her eyes exasperated. "Yes! and I totally understand her wanting to hook up with someone but she does this alot"

"I use to do that to my brother a couple times but once he started doing it to me I stopped"

A laugh escaped her lips. "Didn't like the feeing did you?" Damon hummed in agreement

"I definitely didn't" They both laughed.

Camryn suddenly smiled and looked up at Damon. "We should get out of here" Damon blinked.

"Where do you wanna go?"

"I'll give you the directions" She stood up and left a five dollar bill. "Let's go"

Damon got up and followed her. They walked to his car and she led him to a quiet part of the falls where no one was at.

"I haven't been to this place in awhile" He said walking up to the fast blonde. She had beat him up the hill.

Camryn glanced at him with a small smile. "Yeah it's beautiful"

Damon stared at her as she glowed in the moonlight. Standing next to her he noticed the height difference between them. She was about 5'1 while he was 5'10. The nine inch difference showed. A comfortable silence welcomed them as they looked at the view while listening to the waterfalls.

"You know I never got your name" Camryn said as she plopped down on the ground. Damon sat down next to her.

"Damon"

"Sounds like Demon" She said giggling.

"Har har. Very funny" He replied sarcastically,but it only made her laugh harder.

"Aw don't be a sarcastic person now" She said teasing him.

"Well tell me yours so I can have a remark for it"

Camryn snickered. "It's Camryn"

Damon frowned. "It's not a bad name-except it's more of a boy name" She smacked his arm.

"I've heard everything about my name that's boy related"

"That's no fun"

"Your no fun" She said.

Damon feigned hurt by putting a hand on his chest. "Ouch,I thought you atleast liked my company if you took me here"

"Well maybe I do. Or I was just being nice"

His mouth twitched at her answer. "You weren't being nice because you actually feel attracted to me"

Camryn turned to look at him and her breath caught in her throat. They were too close to each other. Usually when she sits next to people she keeps distance between them,but Damon's thigh was rubbing against her own. He was about to comment on her being speechless but he found himself doing the same. They weren't even inches away from each other and he was able to hear her blood pumping in her veins.

Her heart beat was beating faster and Damon licked his lips as he thought of how sweet her blood probably tasted. He looked down at her lips and wanted to know how soft they felt.

Camryn bit her lip and noticed Damon's eyes trailing to her lip. Feeling bold and a feeling overtake her,she leaned forward and looked into his eyes. Damon held her gaze for a few seconds before crashing his lips against hers. Why did he have to be such a good kisser too-She thought to herself.

She remembers them breaking apart and him driving them to the bed and breakfast he was staying at,It was about twenty minutes outside Mystic Falls. Camryn remembered how hungrily he devoured her lips and how he roughly pulled at her clothes,she also remembered how good he made her feel and how he seemed to enjoy sucking and biting her skin. It was probably one of the most passionate times she ever had with someone,especially just meeting them.

Damon was staring at the ceiling when she woke up in his arms from her phone going off. It was 11:48 when Caroline spammed her phone. Cursing,she got out of the bed and put her clothes on while feeling Damon's eyes on her. After she got dressed she looked at him. "Aren't you gonna get dressed?!"

Damon rolled his eyes and walked towards her naked. "I'm sure your sister can find a ride. Just tell her you met up with a friend so you'll see her tomorrow"

Camryn wanted to stay...but she didn't wanna abandon her sister-suddenly she remembered what Damon and her talked about earlier.

"Your right,Bonnie or one of them can do it" Damon pecked her lips and guided her back to the bed.

After a couple more rounds,she eventually fell asleep and hoped Caroline wouldn't be too mad.
