Different but the same.

Almost a date?

Scarlett's POV

My hands were tired, my eyes couldn't even open, I was really tired. Maybe it was the massive painting I had to complete. Because for one, when I get inspiration, I'll suddenly have to do it. Like tonight for example, I suddenly woke up and saw a image in my mind. I jumped out of bed, at two in the morning and started my drawing.

I didn't even notice what the image was actually was until I saw brown eyes and sliver ones next to each other.

It was Emma and me.
It's weird that, I drew us together and by the looks of it we looked happy, like we had no care in the world.

Gosh, I like her a lot!
As soon as I'm done with the painting ( must I say my favorite painting so far now ) I pass out on my bed.

5 hours later, my alarm goes off and I wake up to find 12 unseen messages from Emma
a lot of " hey!"
and "hello??"
" scccaaaarrrrllleeetttt"
And more
I message her back saying hey, what's up
I instantly get a text back,
" heyy! What are you doing today?"
" it's a Saturday so.... Painting :) "
" oh whatever, you can paint another time! Your going to spend the day with moi!"
" oh really?"
" yeah really!, get ready I'm picking you up in 30 minutes! :3 see ya then!"
I get a blush instantly.
I get up and get my black skinny jeans on and pick out my " rainbow " shirt.
Put on some make up and BAM. Ready 30 minutes later.

A knock on the door, and I hear " READY OR-" I open the door and smile
" Hey, I'm ready! Haha where are we going?" I ask
" Not telling, you'll have to wait and see" she says and winks at me. I swear, she knows what exactly to do to make me blush, her winks are her specialty.

We get in the car and drive, I wanted to put music on so I reached out and both of our hands touched, she giggles.
" What station?" She asks with her beautiful brown eyes.
" 95.9" I reply smirking at her.
" That's my favorite station!" She says and puts the station on, it had " flightless bird " on.
" This song is my favorite!" I said excitedly
" Well, I guess this could be our song, you know? Or is that not how it works!" She said smirking, and looking at the road.
" It could be" I say smiling at her.

A few hours passed and she ended up beinging me to a beautiful diner, on of the fancy ones.
We talked and ate our food, but mostly we laughed.
By the time we were finished our food, it was already 9:00 pm. Where did the time go? Time is weird xD

We stopped at my house, the car still running.
" Hey, I had a fun time today" I say happily.
" Me too. I love spending time with you, it was almost like date! Haha!"
" Yeah, in that case, it was an amazing one then, I got to go..." I say sadly.
Before I know she reached over and gave me a hug,
" If this were a date, it was the perfect first one, and I'd hope their would be a second one". Emma said smirking. I was breathless, Out of words.
She smiled and kissed my cheek friendly like and sat back.
" Alright, good night! Text you later!" I say and walk inside my house...

But really, an ALMOST date???
