After the ninja defeated the skeleton army, serpentine,nindroids, and over lord twice they split up because the glue that held them together was gone. Lloyd had went looking for the others and found them. They met up at Chen's Noodle House when a group of thugs had came in and started raising havoc in the restaurant. The ninja had stoped them and followed them outside the restaurant and found a note that said Zane was alive!!
Lloyd's POV
"It says he's alive!!"
(gasp!)
The ninja were surprised to hear that their friend was alive and well but they needed to find him so the ninja had joined Master Chen's Tournament of Elements.
When the ninja had went to board the ship that took them to the island where the tournament was Garmadon had said that he didn't want them to get on the boat but the ninja went anyway because they needed to find Zane so Garmadon just went with them.
When the ninja had arrived on the island they were shown to their rooms and they had new suits (as they do in every season).
