Tuesday meetings were dumb. Firstly all twelve children would sit cramped in the old tree while Max tried to quiet them. He was the one who wrote on the blackboard in yellow chalk so she figured he was the one in charge of these things. He began by talking about Mr. Rumtin and if there had been any "sightings" , there weren't. Then he made a schedule for which games they would play later that day. Noah didn't see the point since they ended up fighting about it later on and always ended up playing hide and seek, everyone's go-to. Hannah spoke up and told everyone that her father said there would be three inches of snow tomorrow, everyone cheered, all except for Leah because her mom told her she would have money for boots next week but that was two months ago and if it snowed she would be cold in her running sneakers. Max announced that the meeting was over and they fought about freeze tag. They played hide and seek. Noah fell asleep watching the Rug Rats that night because her mom worked late on Tuesday nights so she could stay up past nine thirty. Leah fell asleep praying for no snow even though she stopped praying a long time ago.
