Luke's P.O.V.:

I can only pull myself away from Cat once Brittany knocks on the door and calls out for us to hurry up before someone comes looking for us. Cat raises an eyebrow at me. She doesn't have to say a word for me to hear the "I told you so."

"Yeah, yeah. Now how about we get you outta that wet shirt?"

Cat grips the hem of my shirt, which now has a wet spot of it's own from holding her so tightly against me. She pulls me in towards her despite having just told me at least three times that we better quit. "My, my, Thomas, always trying to get me undressed."

Her eyes sparkle when I growl at the use of my given name like that. She squeals when I quickly pull her in towards me. "Always," I wink at her before planting another kiss on those sinful lips of hers. I force myself to break the kiss before it can deepen again. I turn away from her and open one of the cabinets near the couch. I pull my shirt over my head and toss it into the back before pulling out two more shirts. I toss one at Cat and pull the other one on. Cat holds the black fabric in her hands as she watches me. My cockiness at her staring dwindles when I notice the wrinkle between her brows and the slight tilt to her head. I laugh to myself thinking of how much she resembles a lost puppy.

"Why are your clothes in there? Shouldn't they be in your bedroom?"

"Baby," I drawl while stepping towards her, "this is my bedroom." I chuckle when her eyes dart towards the master bedroom in the back. Her head tilts even more when she looks back towards me. I watch the wheels turn behind those stunning blue-grey eyes of hers. She opens her mouth but closes it before she even says anything. "You didn't think I was sleeping back there, did you?" Cat bites down on one side of her bottom lip. It's a move I've seen her use before when she's focusing on editing.  "With her?" I add even though I know I'm pushing it by doing so.

Her nose wrinkles a bit before she shrugs, clearly trying to seem nonchalant but she can't fool me. "I mean..." she trails off, the rest of the sentence not needing to be said out loud considering our previous conversation.

I crook a finger under her chin and tilt her face up towards mine. "You're the only one I wanna share a bed with, Cat. Even just to sleep." When I lean down for another kiss, I make sure it's softer than the one before. Her body droops into mine. The soft moan escaping her almost makes it impossible to pull away, but the pounding at the door tells me there's no other choice right now. "Get changed," I whisper before stealing another kiss and slipping outside.

"About damn time," Brittany quips as soon as the door opens.

I shrug and give her a crooked smile. That's all I have time for, though, before Monaco pulls up in a golf cart. "There you are!" He hits the breaks so hard that he lurches forward.

"Sorry, I forgot my phone."

"Oh, yeah, God forbid you don't have it on you and you miss a call from your mystery girl." I do my best not to cut my eyes at Brittany when she stiffles a laugh. I'm not sure if Monaco hears it or is just wondering what I'm doing alone by my bus with one of my best friend's wife. Either way he eyes us suspiciously. "Just get in, man. Do you know how late you are right now?" He presses the gas, inching the cart forward.

"Hold on!" Brittany exclaims. "We're waiting for-" She stops when she hears the door click open behind me. She nearly falls over laughing when I don't move out of the way fast enough and the door clips the side of my head. Cat gasps and immediately starts apologizing.

"You can check the damage on the way," Monaco calls impatiently. "Plus, it's not his face they come to see anyways. It's his ass." That comment earns him a smack upside his head as I slide in next to him. He pushes me back.
