Look at yourself, what do you see?

I see a kind and caring person staring at me.

Your power to make friends is like no other,In a way, you almost have a super power!

What are some ways we can be super heroes?

Lets explore the world to see what other people know!

[Big picture full of motifs from the rest of the poem]

The first person rides waves and is able to see,

Clearly underwater to further her curiosity.

She includes everyone willing, much like the broad open sea

And helps calm the waters so her animal friends can be who they want to be.

The second person has the courage of a lion,

His love and mind are strong,

He settles agreements within the animal kingdom

That last very short or very long

His noble power shows how much of a leader he can be,

The patience he has lets the animals feel free.

The third child soars high into the sky.

She can reach for the stars and set goals very high.

Even if she turns to a shooting star, falling to earth, she isn't over yet, she gets back up and starts over again.

She has one more power since her light shines so bright,

Bringing happiness and love to the people in her sight.

A fourth child, can control the weather,

Through harsh wind, rain, or storms, she can look for the better.

Through breezes she relaxes and follows its flight,

With warm fuzzy sweaters to get through the night.

Her rain brings her puddles to stomp through the day,

The cool serene Earth whisks her troubles away.

The warm sun brings her light as she looks at the world,

Through blossoming petals and smiling about she never becoming furled.

From high above Earth these powers combined,

Shows a mother's love that is so divine.

Her kindness and care stands out most of all,

And using these four friends powers she embraces your falls.

She brings you back up and teaches you well and teaches her children not to dwell.

These powers show how much of difference love can make,

A difference in a person's life

That they can take,

These lessons of life that one can use throughout,

Their choices and friends, to choose at your might.

One last thing before I go,

Take a look at yourself and reflect on what you know.

Are you as calm as the waters in the sea, (tranquility/harmony)

Perhaps you stand up for what's right and roar with justice and equality, (passion)

Perhaps you take flight as high as the stars, (growth mindset)

Or perhaps you control the weather and take your thoughts far. (optimism)

Reflect on this last tip and think about what you have in your life that you have and will earn.
