Chapter 2: the promise

Adamai pov

I had a mission to go on, i told shanic i wont be long she said ok with a happy smile which made me smile at her, i gave her a tight hug but also a gentle one then i place my left hand (or claw) on top of her head giving her a soft pet which made her smile even more then she hugs me back

Adamai: "don't worry shanic ill be back, i promise and you know dragons never go back on their words" i said to her and she nods her head still keeping her smile, i press my lips against her forehead softly, then i started to walk away to go on my misson though i wasn't going to like who oropo chose to go with me, i didn't tell shanic what kind of mission it was but i know what or in this case who i need to hunt down and bring back, alive.

I was then outside waiting for me team, i groan out of annoyance cause i been waiting for an hour now, i just wanted to get back to my love and hold her, after a while of waiting two of my team came out and i gave them a glare cause they took forever to come out, i was disappointed that one was toxine (a/n i hope i spell her name right) and the other one was a panda (dont remember the name)

I said 'lets go already' the panda man nodded quickly was about to follow but the female spoke, i of course ignore her but she said something i didnt want to hear

Toxine: "can't wait to get back to your play thing huh? Why dont you stay here and-!" i grab her by the throat with my tail giving her a death glare and the male back away from her slowly she knew she couldn't use her powers against me

Adamai: "not one word from you, she's not a toy or a thing, try to remember her name and dont forget she's on a the higher level of dream tower meaning she could kill even if she wanted to, just be lucky she's a kind heart person with an innocent soul" i said to her as my tail tightens the squeeze around her neck then lets go of her "now lets go, we cant waste anymore time then we already have" i said to her hurshly

Both of them walk behind me just up the hill, i ask the male if he brought the drinking teleport poision, he said yes and handed me one and one to toxine and one for himself, he said he had enough to get back to 'here we come, dally and eva' i said in my head with a smirk then we drank the poision

Shanic's pov

I was in my room like usual waiting for adi smiling then i gasps a bit because i forgot to ask him to bring me a new book while he was out on his mission but...He didn't really tell me what it was or where it was at, i sigh sadly then i heard a knock i eep loudly a bit and hide behind my bed on my knees

Shanic: "wh-who is it?" i said loud enough for the person to hear me i waited for them to answer me for a few seconds then i heard a familiar voice

Oropo: "its me shanic, may i come in please? I have something for you" i got up and smile wondering if its a new book he got me, i walk to the door opening it asking if it was a new book "no haha but ill ask adamai to try to find you a new book, but i ask echo to get you some new clothes, come with me please" he said with a soft smile i have been wearing the same clothes so i nodded and walk of my room and follow him

Shanic: "big brother why do float all the time? Is it fun?" i ask him in a kind manner, he had his hood up to show his face, he nodded yes and chuckled a bit "why can't i float like you then?..Dont i have powers like everyone else?" i ask in a sad tone looking down

Oropo: "yours well awaken shanic, all powers have meaning, but what power would like to have?" he ask me and i gave it some thought, i was to space out not noticing he wasn't floating anymore and i bump into him making a cute 'oof' sound "would you like know why i choose you?" he ask me and i nodded saying yes "i choose you not cause of your strong powers but because your pure innocents, you care for everyone, you've never kill before, and cause your an actual goddess that is time and space, i know i told you that part but i wanted you to know why i chose you" he said placing his hand on my head smiling giving me a slow pet which made me smile as well and i giggle softly
