Millie sat at an empty lunch table the October half term in arms reach and all she wanted was to dress up as some terrifying ghoul and get shit faced at sadies party. But right now she was just a student sitting at a table with sludge slapped onto her dinner tray.
"Hey mills !"
Sadie exclaimed running towards the table in her chunky platforms which click clicked against the laminated floor and echoed within the large space.
"Heyyy..."
Millie groaned pushing her fist harder into the side of her face. It had been three days after the encounter with Finn in Sophia's bathroom and since she had not told Sadie anything about it infact she hadn't told anyone.
"Wow what's up with you ?"
Sadie scoffed clashing her tray to the table and sliding onto the bench opposite Millie her ginger brow raised intriguingly.
"Nothing....absolutely nothing"
Millie sighed in response then glaring down to her dinner her mash potato sitting untouched with her fork sticking in it like a cemented street lamp...her thoughts drifted as Sadie was joined by Caleb and carried her own conversation their voices were nothing but mumbles, Millie was far too invested in the resurrection of the bathroom events.
**** Flashback
"Finn...I...I"
Millie stuttered her brain scrambling and jumbling all her words up into a tight ball of nervousness
"If what your going to say is going to hurt me Millie don't bother..."
Finn sighed feeling reluctant that what she was about to say is what he would want to hear,what he was so eager to hear
Millie shifted uncomfortably under his touch on her shoulder, his soft hand lay across it like it was pushing her down to earth and she couldn't stand up again. But really it was gentle and carefully placed. Finn scoffed looking away from Millie his eyes flickering disappointedly,his hand then fell down as he slowly turned and began to move away.
"Just let me finish !"
Millie beamed grabbing his hand once more
