Chapter 12

The two had gotten through quiet a lot and were going really well ,yes there were certain points of Renjun having to explain more to Jaemin but he didn't mind..he liked seeing the younger focusing and genuinely putting in effort.

"Okay and so basically by doing to the left what you do to the right , x will equal 36."

"Yes well done Jaemin ..see I told you I could make you a full mathematician." Renjun said with a big grin which made Jaemins heart do a thing

"Slow your roll Injunnie...we've still got a long way to go." Jaemin said ,and Rejuns heart jumped at the nickname.

"Well besides that I think it calls for a break ,you've been working really hard and you mom said dinner will start in 30mins."Rejun said getting up from the table and stretching

As he was stretching his arms he exposed his stomach and Jaemin gulped as he saw how toned it was.

"So can I ask you something?" Jaemin said

"Sure what's up." Renjun said slightly yawning

"Are you and Jeno like a thing?"

"No, we're friends." Renjun said looking at friends

"Yeah but I bet friends don't go on dates." Jaemin chuckled lightly to hide his true emotions

"I mean I guess you're right but still, I don't think there's anything going on." Renjun said

"Well do you like Jeno?"

"You could say I like two people and Jeno May or may not be one of them." Renjun said quietly

"Why'd you ask?" Renjun said now switching questions to Jaemin

"No reason." Jaemin said very fast

"You sure..."

"Very"

"Who do you like?" Renjun asked

"This one guy, umm he's really sweet , but I know he doesn't like me." Jaemin said a little dull

"Don't say that ...you never know , I say you give it a shot." Renjun said scooting closer to Jaemin

"No, he likes someone ." Jaemin said

"So, now listen I'm not condoning cheating but if he isn't with anyone then who's to say you don't have chance ...fair game is fair game isn't it, so long as you do it appropriately and make the person he likes aware I think you should go for it." Renjun said

"You think so?"

"I know so" Renjun nodded

"Then I guess I will." Jaemin smiled

"Now can you tell me." Renjun pleaded

"No...just know that you know them very well like really well."

"Wait it's not Chenle or Haechan right because then I can't condone th-"

"No it's not them." He said as he chuckled

"Then wh-"

"Boys dinners ready." The heard Jaemins mom from downstairs.

As they went downstairs they were greeted by Jaemins parents ...as Mr Na spotted Renjun he immediately went up to the boy and engulfed him in a big hug just like the one he received from Jaemins mother.

"It's really good seeing you my boy." Mr Na said smiling at Renjun who couldn't help but smile back.

"It's really good to see you too Mr Na." Renjun smiled more

"Don't make me all emotional boys , lets sit down and eat." Jaemins mom said as she set down diner

They sat and talked for what seemed to be hours, Jaemins mom and dad bringing up smal instances between the three boys from when they were younger , Renjun also remembering and adding in to these memories as he smiled ever so brightly.

Jaemin couldn't help but to stare with so much awe as he saw how happy Renjun was when he was chatting to his family... How big and bright his smile was as he joined in on the conversation being a lot less shy there than what he was at school... and how beautiful he was , how his eyes seemed to do this subtle sparkle and would disappear the more his smile grew, his laugh was like music to Jaemins ears, not loud and over bearing but also not soft and subtle ...it was just too beautiful to be able to fully describe.

Jaemin could feel his heart swell and miss a couple beats each time Renjun would look at him smiling ..Jaemin knew he liked Renjun, he's liked him for the longest time if he was being honest.

But

Jeno...Jeno was his best friend and he'd feel horrible just swooping up someone he could see he was clearly interested in, but Renjun was so beautiful and kind and helpful he just couldn't help himself but to let his heart swell.

He was at a crossroad.
