Rwby Volume 7 episodes review

Episode 1

Okay my thoughts/opinions of episode 1

I liked it a lot, but not too much.

We find out a lot of things.

Positives:

1) Penny has been rebuilt/brought back with a new design

2) the fight scene (the one from the preview clip) was alright, didn't think it was as great as the volume 6 episode 1 fight scene

3) we meet Penny's father (builder)

4) the group from the previews that gets them tied up is a special atlas task force group

5) the city they are in at first is the more let's say poorer city to the one above, looks like a gang infested new York (not exactly but it doesn't look like I would want to live there)

6) and how they get to the city above the lower one(basically actual Atlas) is believable

7) Ironwood is shown to be way more careful with protecting atlas now

Neutral (not bad or good things, just stuff that don't really matter to the plot or any development):

1) Winter Schnee has a new design

2) apparently Penny's father/builder made Maria's robo eyes and fixes them every 10 years(could be more important later)

3) the song for the intro (which is shown at the end) is very good listen and the intro video(not counting the song) animation is very artistic in style

Cons:

1) I don't want to do this but Jason Liebriecht as Qrow has 1 tiny difference from Vic Mignona Qrow, Jason as Qrow at times sounds more lighter in tone with the gruff voice than Vic.

Props to Jason taking the role and doing what he can

2) the intro is shown but at the end of this episode, and I see why, it is very spoilers heavy with scenes that are most likely very important in this volume.

I say skip the intro each episode now if you don't want any scenes that are very heavy with potential spoilers

Overall, I liked this episode, not much bad in the episode that is story or character wise but I felt more satisfied with the volume 6 episode 1 premier

Can't wait for Adel shit on Rwby for views and subs like a sellout Aka shitty ass thoughts
