Calum's POV
Drama & DJ TrickyRicky: the Untold Story of Triumph, Family, and Music.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, and raised just outside Nashville, Tennessee, Broderick and Andromeda Hood are taking the music scene by storm. But you may not know them by their full names, both having opted for shorter professional title.
Broderick, more commonly known as DJ TrickyRicky is the hottest young DJ in LA. Already earning himself a weekend residency at Genesis, a popular high end club in downtown Hollywood, regularly visited by celebrities of all caliber. In fact last summer while playing his set at Genesis, Chris Hemsworth showed up in front of his table, and complemented his work. But as cool as encountered like that are, Ricky says he doesn't focus on who is in the audience, just that there is one. He want to play great music that people can have a good time listening and dancing to. Ricky's services are also for hire, playing parties and events around LA and the surrounding area mostly, but he has played events as far out as Nashville and New York.
Andromeda, the true fire beneath todays pop music scene. Professionally known as simply Drama, she is the lyrical mastermind behind many of your favorite songs. Having worked with Niall Horan, Camila Cabello, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, and many others. She is only moving up to bigger and bolder work throughout the industry. But like her brother, her focus is not on the names she is working with, but the people and songs behind the names. It matters to her that she works with people who love what they do, and people willing to share their stories and become vulnerable for the music. Net worth, popularity, and status have little to do with her choice in the artist she is willing to work with. But she did say it would be amazing to work on a song with Ed Sheeran. And honestly the rest of us would have to agree. Two of the largest powerhouses in song writing today, that song would be a treat for everyone.
