Day 2: Denial 

I couldn't believe what happened to me in mere moments. 

Once we held hands, then the next you ran to another 

I couldn't see the lies between the two 

That you seemed happier with them than with me 

Although isn't that how the story goes

I could never match those loving eyes again with my own

Now they are stuck in photographs by the seashore
