Chapter 7: First Day of School

A/N I'm baaaaaaaack! (I'll let y'all finish that) And better than ever! Jk, I don't really know if my writing is better than ever. I'll let you be the judge of that. Enjoy!

(Taylor's POV) -Two Days Later-

My eyes open to blinding morning sunlight streaming in the window above my bed. Today is the first day of school. I am REALLY not looking forward to this.

-time skip to when they arrive at school-

My mom pulls up in front of the school and Jordan and I get out. We walk in the school together and I show him to the office.

We walk in the office and the office lady greets us, "Hello, how can I help you boys?" Jordan steps forward, "Hi, I'm new here, so I need to sign in?" "Of course dear," she replies, "what is your name?" "Jordan Maron." He says. "Alright dear, Taylor here can show you around." She says gesturing to me. "Thank you ma'am." He says and we walk out of the office.

I look around and catch sight of Ryan, my bully. I quickly turn around hoping he didn't see me, but that hope dies when a hand clamps on my shoulder and spins me around.

"Hey there, GAYVenom." He says menacingly and roughly pushes me to the ground. I brave myself for a punch, but it never comes. I look up and see Jordan holding Ryan's fist, their faces holding the same amount of aggression.

Seth and Aurey rush forward, help me off the ground, and pull me into the crowd that has now gathered around the two. My eyes never leave the scene. They stare at each other for a moment before Jordan shoves Ryan's fist back and takes a few steps backward.

Ryan lunges at Jordan while Jordan stands his ground. He knocks into Jordan attempting to tackle him, but Jordan remains standing and pushes Ryan away. Ryan takes a swing at Jordan and Jordan ducks under it and comes up with an upper-cut.

Ryan stumbles backward. Jordan turns around looking for me, but doesn't meet my gaze before Ryan has him in a chokehold. 'Oh no, how's he gonna get out of this?" I think in panic.

Somehow, Jordan twists free and throws Ryan over his shoulder. Ryan lands with a thud and starts gasping for air.

We all stand there in shock. No one, I mean NO ONE, has EVER been able to beat Ryan until now. Everyone starts clapping, so I clap too.

"Anyone mess with my friends, you mess with me, too. And trust me. You don't want to do that." Jordan says gesturing to Ryan. Aurey eagerly runs forward and hugs Jordan. Seth and I walk forward and stand just behind him on either side while he looks around, daring someone to mess with us.

Then the bell rings for school to start, so we all leave while Ryan still lays on the ground.
