"Yes, yes. I understand. Thank you."

Placing my phone in my lap, I ran my hand through my hair and let out a sigh. Fortunately, the police knew the full story from the time they have captured Raging, and they didn't believe any kind of reports people wanted to give them. On the other hand, they couldn't tell anyone anything due to the confidentiality agreement. Which meant, half of the world, the billions of people who saw what happened on the live stream, were still against me. I was afraid to leave the building.
I still couldn't figure out who would do this kind of thing and why. Some detectives are on the case, but it's been two weeks and they still haven't called me to tell me what kind of result they got to.
Those who didn't know the story - so everyone besides Ai, Reiji and Otoya - started questioning me and if I'm trustable or not. Fortunately, my army of protectors was quick to explain what really happened. So I at least don't have to worry about someone in Shining Entertainment starting to perhaps plan something against me or something.
Oh, how I should have never, ever thought about that.
My phone in my lap started ringing again. Furrowing my eyebrows, I moved my gaze on the screen, only to see the very contact of those detectives who were trying to figure out what happened.
"Hello??" I hurriedly picked up. "Yes, did you find anything??"
"Hardly, but yes. Although it isn't anything promising." a serious male voice replied on the other side of the line.
"... Uhm... can you please explain in detail?" I muttered, my free hand anxiously rubbing my knee.
"Monitor 317B is being controlled by a panel, that can be found in one of the rooms on the first floor. Due to an unreliable worker, the panel was left unguarded. It seems that somebody might have sneaked in, and placed in that certain video, setting it to start playing by the time yourself has finished with your last solo performance. The disk has automatically destroyed itself after playing the video. We have only found the staff's fingerprints on the panel. The security camera in the room apparently has stopped functioning much before the concert took place."
"..." I bit my lips. "So do you think that an outsider somehow came in and put in the video...?"
"Unfortunately not. It's tough to say, but entering around the time the disk was most certainly placed in was almost completely impossible. Our people have confirmed through security cameras that no outsiders ever entered the backstage area. The disk was placed in at around 10.45 pm, between your second and STARISH's third performance. It's 99.9% sure that an insider, who works at Shining Entertainment and was present at the location that night, has put in the disk. Somebody from the staff, or, perhaps, an idol."
"......."
"I'm terribly sorry for accusing your allies as betrayers."
"N-No, it's okay!!!" I jabbered hurriedly. "T-Thank you for your cooperation, doctor... Please excuse me."
I hang up, quickly slapping my hand over my lips.
I mean... there is no way that can be right. Right?
After all, only three people were present that night who knew the full story. The three someones who I trust the most. There... there is no way either one of them could do something like this.
Not them. Neither of them could be lying to me...
The one I love, my own blood, the one that's always there for me...
Dark thoughts filled my head. After my second performance - that was the time everybody has disappeared.
All of our outfits had gloves, so it would make sense if they couldn't find their fingerprints...
I shook my head widely, desperately grabbing onto my hair. It can't be any of them. It just can't...!
"[F/N]...? What's wrong, are you okay?" I felt gentle hands slightly shake me. I looked up. Ai was grabbing onto my shoulders while looking at me with a frown. Reiji was standing behind him, holding a plate of some baked goods, looking at me sadly. Meanwhile, Otoya peeked in through the doorway with an expression of the most troubled puppy I've ever seen.
"..." I looked through all of their faces. I didn't even realize that I was shaking.
"I know what happened, but you really need to calm down." Ai muttered. "This mental state will eventually damage your health..."
His hand slowly brushed through my hair. Before I knew it, I reflexively jumped away from him.
"... [F/N]?" he muttered, looking at me confused. Since we are dating, I probably never pushed him away before.
"..." I looked down. I couldn't look any of them in the eye. I quickly pushed Ai out of the way and ran towards the door.
"Wait--!!" Reiji grabbed my wrist, dropping the plate.
"Let go!!!" I snapped loudly as the plate crashed on the floor. After that, silence enveloped the room, the brunette staring at me with wide eyes. Slowly, he lowered his hand as I backed up from him - bumping into my brother.
"... Nee-chan, are you okay?" Otoya frowned.
"..... J-Just... don't talk to me." was all I could mumble out before I sprinted out of the room, leaving the three of them completely speechless.

Running through the hallways, I sobbed loudly.
I didn't have Ai to hug me between the sheets, whispering that everything is going to be okay.
I didn't have Reiji to be there for me and smile for me even in the darkest times.
I didn't have Otoya to comfort me in his own goofy ways.
In the blink of an eye, I realized - I can't even trust those people anymore.
In the blink of an eye, the whole world decided to turn against me.
In the blink of an eye, I was left alone.
I stopped, realizing that I didn't even know where I was going. I looked from hallway to hallway, desperately trying to catch my breath and wipe my face dry from those waterfalls of tears. What do I do? Where do I go?
In the end, I ended up looking for the last person I could think of. The person who I wouldn't have ever thought I would turn so he can lend me emotional support when in reality, he should have been one of the most obvious people to think of.
Not even bothering to knock, I silently pushed open the office's door, making him look up at me.
"...Dad?" I whispered in a hoarse voice, looking at him with a desperate need for care.
"..." he looked at me sadly, removing his sunglasses and standing up from his table.
Without saying anything, I ran over to him, hugging his huge self with all the strength I had left, not really caring about the consequences. Slowly, I felt Dad hugging me back.
