- Next Morning -

Lola's POV

I was lying down on my bed, thinking about what would happen on my date with Luke. Wow, that feels very weird to say, me going out on a date with LUKE. Huh, I never saw that coming.
Well, the truth is, I've never really been asked out on a date. This will be my first, so I honestly don't really know what to do. Maybe I could call Pippa and ask for advice? She's good with boy stuff.

I reached over to the night stand that was next to my bed and grabbed my iPhone. I scrolled through the contacts and pressed on Pippas name and called her.

"Hello? Lola?" Pippa said, her voice sounding sort of sleepy.

"PIPPA OH MY GOD IM IN DEEP SHIT I NEED YOUR HELP I-" I was going to continue my rant but Pippa interrupted.

"Lola, it's way too early in the morning for this. Now take a deep breathe, and tell me what's wrong."

I took a two deep breaths, calming myself and then I finally spoke.
"Okay, okay I'm calm now. Well basically, Luke asked me out on a date and I don't kno-" I couldn't continue because Pippa interrupted me again
with her squealing.

"WAIT, WHAT?! DID HE REALLY? OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH M-"
"PIPPA!" I yelled into the phone, which finally made her shut up.

"Okay I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Okay, continue talking! I wanna know everything."

I explained to her how he asked me and what he said and I told her that I had no experience with dating, which she already knew, and how I needed her help.

"Okay well, honestly don't try to act all fake. That's the opposite of what guys want. Be confident, but not too confident otherwise you'll sound cocky. Don't be nervous, it sounds like he really does like you Lola. Just be yourself, he will love your awkward personality, trust me!" She said with a giggle.

I rolled my eyes, laughing along with my best friend.

"Yeah yeah, okay. Well, I hope he likes me. I actually do, kind of, maybe, just a teeny tiny bit like him." I could hear Pippa chucking over the other end.

"Girl, you're head over heels for him, I can already tell. Well, I'm going to go back and sleep, which you rudely interrupted me from."
She said jokingly. "Why are you even up this early anyway?"

"Pippa, it's 10 am in the morning."

"Whatever, byeee, OH and make sure to dress nice for the date. Tell me how it goes!" And with that, she hung up.

I put my phone back on the nightstand, and sighed into my pillow.
I hope everything turns out alright on my date with Luke.
