June 8th the day before Prom Day

Julian's Apartment

"So, you're telling me Sean is a headass and asked Bailey to prom instead of Kaycee despite having a crush on Kaycee and wants you to take Kaycee to prom for the opportunity for as he puts it 'swap dates' so he can be with Kaycee which you said would hurt Bailey" Julian said repeating what Josh had just told him "And because of this whole preparing for prom experience Sean is starting to like Bailey despite still liking Kaycee"

"Yeah that essentially covers it," Josh said thinking he covered everything "I already told Sean I would tell you as this whole scenario is a mess and I had to talk to someone"

"Appreciate that bro," Julian said

"Yeah and I honestly have no idea how Bailey feels about Sean so there's still some missing variables," Josh said

"Go ask out Kaycee," Julian said

"But-"

"Go!" Julian said

"I don't think it's a good idea," Josh said

"I understand your point but frankly it doesn't matter anymore you don't have a date and she doesn't have a date so you have to ask her," Julian said

"I just-"

"Bro I know you don't want to encourage whatever Sean might end up doing but you have to do this to help a friend" Julian said as of right now Kaycee being dateless was more important "Ideally someone else that liked her would have asked her but that didn't happen so you have to ask Kaycee to the dance"

"...fine" Josh said as he got up "I guess I should do some promposal or something"

"Or just bring flowers," Julian said

"That works," Josh said grabbing the flowers from the vase "Wish me luck!"

As Josh left the apartment "My sister got me those flowers..." Julian said to himself as Josh left

Private Studio

Bailey was working on her choreography and Sean got dragged along who was also supposed to be working on choreography but he hasn't felt motivated as he usually does it with Kaycee

"I can't wait for the prom tomorrow!" Bailey said

"Yeah should be fun!" Sean said agreeing as despite the date situation the event should be fun with all his friends

"And Willdabeast went all out, right?" Bailey asked as if anyone would know it would be Sean

"Yep! He basically made it indistinguishable from a regular high school prom there are some Immabeast decorations and such though" Sean said

"I can't wait to spend the night with you," Bailey said getting down on her knees to be level eyed with Sean who was sitting against the mirror

"I mean we're arriving with a crew between Tahani and Kenny, and Julian with Charlize it's an awful lot of people," Sean said

"I mean when we get there," Bailey said grabbing a hold of Sean's hand "It'll just be you and me"

"...Yeah I just figured you would want to hang with your girls" Sean said as he was looking towards the wall

"You know for someone who asked me out you don't seem too excited to be with me," Bailey said

"Sorry I guess I'm still a little nervous" Sean admitted "I guess for the others it's either going with a friend or getting one to like them in Julian's case but for us, it's a bit... different"
