"care to explain whatever the fuck that was?" yuto said angrily, storming into his apartment. he slammed the door behind him as wooseok chased him inside. "w-what are you talking about?" yuto's eyes were brimmed with hot tears and he was flushed and red. "s-some girl came into our tent and took a picture of you and then they kicked us out of the restaurant! i wanted to enjoy our date and you don't even think of mentioning beforehand that your ex is stalking you? isn't that kind of important? i could have helped you..."

wooseok sighed happily internally, yuto was still clueless. he didn't even know what he would have done if yuto thought something else. now that would've been a disaster. trying to collect himself, wooseok hugged yuto. "listen," he rambled, trying to make up a story, "she's been following me for some time, and she's convinced that we never broke up at all. she forced me into dating her but she never processed when i told her i wanted to break up. i didn't want to tell you, i thought you'd get upset. maybe after seeing us together, she paid the restaurant to kick us out? i am so sorry." yuto wiped his eyes and took a deep breath. "i-it's okay. i should respect your privacy."

wooseok's brows furrowed. "what? m-my privacy, what are you talking about?" yuto looked hesitant to respond but gave in to wooseok's worried face after. "it's this thing my therapist makes me do...so i can stop getting upset with people. i have to say i respect so-and-so. it's kind of weird though..." wooseok took yuto's hand and smiled. "yuto. my baby. who cares what your therapist says? do what makes you feel comfortable." yuto clutched his hand tight like his hand made him feel secure. yuto smiled and blushed.

"sometimes i feel scared that no one loves me. but you're so different, jung wooseok. i feel like there is nothing between us, you always care, it's such a lovely feeling." yuto rested his head on wooseok's shoulder and all of a sudden he felt poisoned. he was feeding yuto lies and yuto was taking it like it was honey. he couldn't tell at all. how could yuto not suspect anything? and how could he be so awful to yuto like this? he had lost all sight of what mattered to him, and that was yuto. a family. a life. he was getting lost in lies and he couldn't even keep up with his own story. but it never felt like the time was right. whether they were in bed, cuddling, or just drinking coffee, wooseok always felt like yuto couldn't live with wooseok being an idol. he liked it quiet, and he liked having wooseok to himself. once he found out, everything would change, forever. and not just their relationship. he would have his contract cut.

cube had strict rules with how idols could date. if they did, they would have to be dating outside of their company, dating someone popular in korea, and only of a different gender. yes, cube is homophobic. wooseok never came out to anyone except for his group mates. his manager would get him reported immediately, only looking for a raise, and even though wooseok was very popular worldwide and made lots of money, they couldn't bear to see him dating another man. it would never work. cube was harsh and awful. his love would simply disappear.
