Type lowered his head to hide the grin on his face. He couldn't help the short laugh that escaped him, though. Techno's expression at seeing Technic walk into the Sports Science canteen, and sit right next to Champ, chattering away about assignments he had to do and the extra studying he was doing ahead of time for the university entrance exams - was simply hilarious. Techno turned his incredulous gaze on Type, asking with his eyes what in the world was going on??

Ask them, Type mouthed, not wanting to get involved. Champ had told him some of what had happened when he talked to Technic a couple days ago. Kengkla was most likely going to pop up again at some point, and Technic was now friends with Champ. Type didn't mind Technic hanging with them at the university or anywhere else. The Nong was actually pretty interesting to talk to. It was Techno that couldn't wrap his mind around Champ and Technic sitting next to each other as friends.

"Are they together?" Techno whispered in Type's ear.

Type drew back, giving Techno a strange look. "What? Why would you think that?"

"Look how close they are!" Techno hissed quietly, jerking his head in their direction. Champ and Technic had their heads bent over a textbook of Technic's, Champ helping him go step-by-step through a problem. "How long has this been going on?? Was Champ afraid to tell me?"

Type wanted to bang his head on the table. How could Techno be this oblivious?? Anyone with a brain could see Champ was in love with Techno, not Technic! All you had to do was watch Champ while he was gazing at the captain. It was so obvious, it was a wonder the whole campus hadn't developed diabetes.

Gag.

Champ chuckled at something Technic said, interrupting the whispered conversation between Techno and Type. Type smirked as Techno's gaze followed the movement of Champ's arm when it wrapped around Technic's shoulders, giving the younger boy a one-armed hug. Technic's cheeks flushed a light pink as he laughed along with Champ, leaning against the taller guy, gazing up at him with a happy glow.

Type was certain Techno was jealous of Champ's and Technic's closeness. The idiot probably just didn't realize it, and when he finally did, he'd probably write it off as not wanting someone poaching his baby brother. Techno would have to learn the hard way, since Champ wasn't going to ever confess due to what Techno had drunkenly said two years ago.

"Nic, I have the perfect booklet for these problems," Champ said, flipping through a few pages of the textbook. "You free after school? We can go to my house and I'll give it to you. It really helped me when I was studying for the entrance exams."

"Really, Champ? Thank you so much," Technic said almost reverently.

"What happened to the 'P'??" Techno mumbled.

Type lightly nudged Techno in the ribs, shaking his head at him. Champ had already explained that since he and Technic were friends, he didn't have to address him so formally. Techno kept forgetting that.

"Here, Nic," Champ handed Technic a candy bar. "I got your favorite dark chocolate bar. It should help you get through your afternoon classes."

Technic beamed. "Thanks. Speaking of afternoon classes, I'd better go." He stood, grabbing his backpack of the floor next to him.

"You want me to drive you?" Champ offered, tilting his head up to look at Technic.

"Nah, that's okay. It's not that far."

"Far enough you might be late. Come on, I'll give you a ride on my bike. It's faster than a taxi."

Technic walked off with Champ, practically bouncing with each step.
