Ch.3 More about (Y/N) and the mystery person.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

I was at my underwater home with my mother. I remembered that I have to meet up with Kaiba on the pier in a few hours. I took my selfmade sundial and went to the surface. Once I got there, I placed it on the rock, so I could see what time is it.

It was 6 p.m. That meant that I have three hours to get ready. I dived under and I started to do some tricks underwater. I have always loved doing that. I got home, and my mother was there making another seashell necklace. Some merfolk tell me that I am a spitting image of my mother. It is true, I've got her hair, her smile, her singing voice, her tail. I've got almost everything my mom has; except for eyes; I had my father's eyes.

As I was swimming, I couldn't help but look at the photo of my parents, on the beach. My father was carrying my mom bridal style in his arms, while she was laughing. Even though I never met him because he died before I was born, I missed him , very deeply.

"Mom", I asked, "how did dad pass away?"

My mom sighed. "He was murdered. I was about to meet him. I remembered he told me he was about give me something for you. He was so excited for fatherhood. But then I found him, rescuing his friend from a shark. He was about to go to the surface, but he didn't make it." My mom sadly replied with tears that she couldn't shed underwater.

"Oh, mom," I said, hugging her tightly, "you didn't have to tell me. You could have told me when I was old enough."

"I know, honey. But I think you are old enough to know about what happened. Even though, he never got to see you, he would be very proud of you, honey." My mom said rubbing my back gently.

We let go of each other. Then, I looked at the sundial. It was about 8. That meant I had to get ready to meet Kaiba. "Mom, I'm going to the surface." I announced.

Mom raised her eyebrow, "Why?"

"I'm meeting up with a human boy I have recently rescued" I said, hoping she wouldn't get mad.

"Oooh... Sounds like my little mermaid is growing up." My mon teased me with a grin on her face. My face was fifty shades of pink. I hated when she teased me about my crushes, it felt so embarassing.

"Mom!" I exclaimed, trying to get rid of the blush on my face.

My mom just laughed. "When did you save him?" she asked curiously. "I saved him yesterday and he thinks that I am not a real mermaid, he thinks that I am a human dressed up as a mermaid." I replied.

"Ok. Just please be careful! I have already lost someone and I am not ready to lose you either." She said, her voice laced with stern and concern.

I just smiled happily and hugged her tightly. She returned the hug and kissed my forehead. "Be careful. If that boy does something horrible, I'll whoop him with my magic!" She warned.

I rolled my eyes playfully. Did I forget to mention that I have magic powers? Apparently, I do. Inherited from my mom. I can control water, freeze it and heat it and I can do some healing magic.

We pulled away from each other and I started to get ready. I put on my necklace that lightens up when I sing. It's made from the moonstone and my mom gave it to me for my last birthday, a gift my dad wanted to give me for my day of birth. It shined bright, but it didn't shine bright like Kaiba's eyes.

Wait, am I falling in love with Kaiba?!

I shook my head from that thought. "We have only just met. I can't believe I just compared his ocean blue orbs to this piece of jewellery... What is wrong with me?!" I mentally scolded myself for that.

I got out and started swimming towards the surface. I had so many questions to ask him. I just couldn't wait to see him again after that morning on the beach.

"Well Kaiba, I promised I will meet you again and I am fullfilling that promise..." I mentally told him as the surface got nearer and nearer.....

Meanwhile, Unkown P.O.V

I watched as (y/m/n)'s daughter swam to the surface to meet the boy who is coincidentally, a human.

Like mother, like daughter. Her mother's love was a human, and hers is too. Too bad, her father isn't here to watch his daughter grow up. What a pity.

"Haha! Is it true?! The daughter of the magical mermaid is in love?! Why, this must be my lucky day!!" I cackled with glee.

Ever since I met her mother, I was always green with envy 'cause of her beauty and her powers. She took what was rightfully mine, her powers. Now I will take her daughter's powers to conquer her and prove that I can be the greatest sorceress!

But, I will need a plan to lure sweet, innocent (y/n) to take her powers and my plan will be a success!

Right now, all I have to do is be painfully patient. This may take sometime...

But it will happen soon...

"Soon, my dear (y/m/n) you will feel the pain I felt many years ago.... Before you met your lover. Soon I will take something precious to you!" I smirked at that very thought of her in pain and I laughed evilly.

"Very soon, my sweet little (y/n), you will come to me..." I thought as I laughed at my genius plan!
