-How was work?- I text Anissa, mid-conversation with the AVs

"I'm so serious, I think we should all make a trip to Smash Inc" Adrianne argues, "that place is amazing"

"It's cause you're a psycho with a sledgehammer in your back trunk" Aria laughs, "how'd you even get that?"

"You get your first one free, so we kept it in memoriam" Leslie says over the FaceTime call

"We're minorities though, Leslie! We can't just be keeping sledgehammers in our cars! Cops will wonder what's going on!" Kat laughs

"Queen is dating a cop, so maybe we can get away with it" Aria points out

-Boring, I miss your face. When can I see you again?- Anissa replies back

-I mean, I'm not doing anything tomorrow-

-oh really? What about tonight?-

Her text makes me shift a little in anticipation. Adrianne, Kat, Aria and Simone are here, and I know Leslie will be upset if she comes over and Leslie isn't here to meet her too.

"Are you down for that, Queen?" Adrianne asks, breaking my attention from my phone

"Sorry, Anissa just texted me" I look up, "what am I down for?"

"Going to the smash place, Adrianne and Leslie convinced me" Aria smiles

"Yea yea, sure" I nod, "that sounds absolutely fun"

"Great! It's a date!" Aria smiles, "We should invite Anissa, Emmie, and Kace!"

Should I introduce them this early? Anissa and I only had one date. I'm not sure I can trust them this early on with being normal people around Anissa ...

"I'll ask" I nod

-At home, just hanging out with a few friends. I want you to stop by... if you want to-

I hear a knock at my front door, so I get up to go see who it is. Couldn't be Anissa... she doesn't have my address and doesn't seem like the type to show up without announcing herself first .... I open the door and Lana is standing in front of me with blood trickling down her leg

"Come on" I open the door wider, going out the door to help her inside

I finish bandaging Lana and help her to her feet
"Seriously though, Lana, you need to be careful and try not to walk in heels for 11 miles. Shit isn't safe"

"I know, I just-" Lana says but Adrianne cuts her off

"Queen! Anissa is FaceTime calling your phone !!" Adrianne yells up the stairs, "I'm going to answer it!"

"No!!" I trip on my way to the steps, catching my balance on the railing before flying down the stairs towards Adrianne and Aria who are huddled in front of my phone

"Hello!" Aria says, smiling at my phone

"Hi" Anissa replies

I grab my phone from Adrianne, shaking my head, "Hey"

"What are you guys up to?" Anissa asks

"Just talking" Kat replies, looking over my shoulder to see Anissa, "Are you driving?"

"Yes, I'm headed home to change"

"Tell her she can keep the uniform so we can see it!" Leslie yells from Aria's phone

"Shut up, Les!" I grit through my teeth

"I would rather not, I'm sweaty and smell like work" Anissa laughs
