Chapter 2: Hosts

Grand Multiverse Space

Outside of the Land of Light, Ultraman Zero halts in midair as he looks around, finding himself floating in the middle of a large space filled with gigantic spheres of universes. Ultraman Zero looks at the diamond shaped synchronizer, watching as a small slender beam emits from the device, transmitting back to a large sphere as he remembers his father's words.

Ultraman Zero looks at the device, watching as dark minus energy emits from the device, transmitting towards a nearby universe." It must be that one." Ultraman Zero launches himself up, flying towards the very source of the energy.

However, as he enters the universal atmosphere, the device began glowing brightly before going off in a small explosion, startling Ultraman Zero. Ultraman Zero stares at his now empty hand as he looks around the dark star-filled void, questioning himself," Is this another universe?"

As Ultraman Zero contemplates the identity of his new location, far away, a large Legionoid ship fleet flies past the Milky Way, towards the Planet Annu.

Planet Annu

On the Planet Annu, people screams in terror as squadrons of Legionoids rises from the ground, opening fire at the village below.

As the Legionoids continues their attack, a woman hid under a large tent, frantically screaming into a walkie talkie in distress," This is the Planet Annu! We are under attack by Legionoids! The exploitation caravans won't work any longer!"

" All of you! Get out of here!" An old lady shouts at the Legionoids as a young man tries to pull her away, frantically screaming," It's dangerous! Let's get out of here!"

Just as a Legionoid raises up it's feet, ready to squash the innocent bystanders with it's foot, right at that moment, a small speeder flies past the Legionoid, firing barrages of lasers on it's headpiece.

The Legionoid looks at the speeder before shifting it's entire body, narrowingly missing the couple before going after the vehicle in hot pursuit.

As the speeder continues flying, it's turrents fires continuous rounds of lasers as it swerves left and right, dodging the Legionoid's lasers in the process.

Inside the speeder, Ran, a tall young man cladded in baggy desert clothing looks back from his turret, shouting at his younger brother," It's catching up with us Nao!" Nao, a short young boy cladded in identical clothing as his older brother assures him," That's all part of my plan!"

Nao then steps onto the pedal, accelerating the vehicle right through a cliff, causing both the speeder and the Legionoid to fall into a large volcanic crater." We're going down!" Nao screams out, causing Ran to question in distress," Are you serious?!"

The speeder shifts itself upwards, flying over the blazing hot lava just as the Legionoid crashes into the flaming liquid with a loud splash. The speeder then shifts itself up, flying up onto a nearby cliff before halting right in front of a large boulder.

Both Nao and Ran dashes out of the speeder, their face brightens as they stare at the Legionoid in the bottom of the volcano." We did it!"" We did!" Both Run and Nao laughs as the two brothers smacks each other's hands in a form of a hi-five.

However, their moment of triumph was interrupted by a large rumbling sound, causing the two brothers to look around in shock and confusion. And at that moment, a large drill-like aspandage crashes through the rocks, sending both Ran and Nao flying into the air.

" Ran!" Nao screams out just as the two brothers crashes onto the rocky hard ground roughly, rolling across the floor just as the speeder falls over the cliff, crashing into the volcanic lava below just as Ran lands body first on the edge of the cliff, holding up his younger brother.
