It's been two weeks now and I've been struggling. I wake up in the middle of the night realising that I'm alone in bed, I even wrote a poem.

I know it sucks but it was a alternative to slitting my wrists and going into depression. Erin and I hung out more and so did Haygen and I. I know what y'all thinking,

You and Haygen should totally get together,

But no. I'm ready to go into a real relationship now when my boyfriend died! That's literally disgusting, and completely disrespectful. But anyway, I'm starting to get feelings for him-again-but I wanna take it slow. It's never good rushing into things.

"Emilie, um I know you just got out of a serious relationship but will you go on a date with me? I promise I'll teach you some more Afrikaans if you want." He knocked me out of my thoughts and I looked at him. I saw the pleading look on his face and his eyes were these beautiful red with flecks of orange and blue which I never noticed before. I gave in and smiled at his adorableness.

"Fine. One date but the twins have to be able to come with." He smiled brightly. "Great! We can go tomorrow afternoon to the park with the twins and have a picnic." He was so happy and it made the blue flecks in his eyes become brighter. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I took it out.

I opened it and saw it was from Erin. "Who is it?" I looked at him. "It's Erin." I looked at the phone again and read the message.

Erie pie🍓: Hey, you wanna hang out? If yes then ask my brother to come with because I know he's with you, if no then ಥ‿ಥ.

Emerald 💚🔐: Sure we can hang out, and I feel like you're stalking me again.

I put off my phone and explained the plan to Haygen. "Something doesn't seem right?" I rolled my eyes and hopped off the couch. "Stops being so paranoid. She just wants to hang out." I shrugged and went to the twins room, Haygen close behind me. "Lucas, Lillian, where are you?" I cooed as I peeked into the room. The two were on the floor playing with their toys. I found that really weird cause they were only a month old.

"Lucas, come here to your auntie Emy. Ahbobo coochie coochie coo." I picked him up and baby talked him. "Lucky basturd." Haygen mumbled under his breath. "Why is he the lucky one?" I turned to him and his face flushed. "Becausehe'sreallyclosetoyou." He mumbled under his breath again. "please speak up." He sighed and blushed awkwardly. "It's nothing serious really it's just... when are we supposed to meet up with Erin?" My eyes widened. I put him in his cot and I put Lillian in hers too and whipped out my phone.

I switched off my phone and went to my room and close the door. I started getting undressed when Haygen walked into my room unexpectedly. "Hey Emilie, where are we suppos-Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't know-I'm just gonna go." He fumbled over his words and stumbled out of my room.

I slowly looked down at my bare body and I blushed realising that. I quickly put on my clothes and went out.

Haygen's P.O.V

I just saw my crush naked. Ugh! She probably Hates me now. God I'm such an idiot.

Emilie's P.O.V

I awkwardly walked with Haygen to his car. "Emilie I'm so sorry for just barging into your room like that and looking at your bea-I mean body." I smiled at him and took his hands. "You're not the first person to see me naked, and you won't be the last. My -hopefully- future husband will." He smiled and started the car. "Where to?" "Mc'Ds." He revved the engine and we sped off.

"There's her car." I pointed at the car park right at the back. We parked close to the entrance and went inside. We saw Erin sitting with some girl I didn't know and we sat down with them. "Hey Erin! Who's the pretty girl with you?" Haygen looked at the Ravenette with bleached highlights. "I'm Alexis." She put out her hand to greet us. I willing accepted but Haygen just nodded. He looked so serious. He had this dark aroura around him. "Thanks for meeting with me guys because this is really important. I need to tell you something and I don't care if you don't except me for who I am but it's time. I'm coming out guys." She took a deep breath in and I noticed that Alexis and her were holding hands under the table.

"Haygen. Emilie. I'm lesbian." She spoke in a shaky and quiet voice. "This is my girlfriend. We've been dating for a year already and we both agreed to tell our families and friends, so I wanted to tell you guys first so that even if I get rejected by my family, I'll know that you guys would still be here for me." I was shocked. This whole time I never noticed but now that I think about it, there were a lot of signs. Her always rejecting guys, why she felt uncomfortable in the girls locker room, or why we never had any girl friends. Ok that last one sounds pretty far fetched.

"How long have you been lesbian?" Haygen asked coldly and I was taken aback. "Three years." She spoke even softer, I could barely hear it. "Why didn't you tell me. I'm your brother." I saw her tearing up and a few people started staring at us. "I was scared that you'd look at me not as your little sister but as some low life fagat." Susan pulled her into a side hug and rubbed her back. Haygen sighed contently and looked at his sister with a softer look. "I'm not disgusted by you. As long as you find love, I'll always be there for you. And you're not some fag jy is my klein sussies en jy sal altyd my Erie wees. Verstaan jy vir my? En as net een mens jou'n Fag roep, ek sal hulle moer." She smiled and hugged him tightly. "Thank you for understanding." Susan smiled brightly. "Always and forever." I cooed at how cheesy that line was. "Can I get my girlfriend back now?" Alexis asked between chuckles. Haygen let go of his sister and I hugged her too but let her go because I noticed that Alexis didn't like it. We all laughed and chilled.
