After another night of scrolling through my emails, I see something from a name I don't recognise.

Dr. Ho-sung Chang: Good evening Y/N. I have reviewed your intern application and have decided to take you on as my trainee. Please get in contact so we can organise an interview. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Kind regards Dr. Ho-sung Chang.

I can't believe it! Dr. Ho-sung Chang! One of Seoul's most respected and admired therapists, has chosen me to be his intern!

Immediately, I begin to write my reply.

Y/N: Good afternoon Dr. Chang, thank you for choosing me. I can come in anytime.

Y/N.

I am so excited to meet him. Ever since I started studying psychology, I have looked up to him. Now I get to talk with him and even become his trainee!

A short while later, I receive a notification from my laptop. It was Dr. Ho-sung Chang.

Dr. Ho-sung Chang: In that case, we will agree on 6PM this Thursday. See you soon.

Dr. Ho-sung Chang.

Thursday. Ok. That's only two days away. I need to pick out a new suit before then, I have to make a good first impression.

I decide to go to bed as it is already 10PM but for the next hour, I lie awake. My excitement won't let me sleep.

Narrator's POV

The morning sun, breaks through the gap in the curtains. The alarm on your bedside table starts to sound. Joyfully, you spring up and silence it. After a quick stretch, you slide out of bed and into your slippers.

Naturally, you begin to shuffle downstairs and into the kitchen to pour a cup of coffee.

You had planned to go to the Dongdaemun Market, to look for a new suit to wear for your interview tomorrow.

You read the time on the clock which reads 8:34AM. Plenty of time to get ready and eat before going out. After finishing your coffee, you make some toast then take a shower.

As you go back to your bedroom to change, you see Soyeon is already ready. She turns around as you walk in.

(Soyeon) "Do I look good?"

(Y/N) "Haha, you always do!"

You kiss her on the cheek as you sit down on the bed and get changed.

After you finish changing, the two of you leave the apartment and find your car on the car park. Half an hour later, you reach the market and find a place to park.

Eventually, you come to the Dongdaemun Tailors and walk in, where you are greeted by the shop assistant.

(Shop assistant) "Good morning sir, ma'am. How can I help you?"

(Soyeon) "He's looking for a new suit, he's got an important interview tomorrow!"

(Shop assistant) "Is that right, I'm sure we can find something just right then."

(Y/N) "Yeah, thanks."

He takes you around the store to look at the different suits.

(Soyeon) "That one looks smart."

(Y/N) "It's looks expensive..."

(Soyeon) "That doesn't matter, this is a big interview. You want to look good for it."

You take it out and the shop assistant takes you to the changing room, like a model, you walk out to show Soyeon.

(Soyeon) "Woah, that looks great on you!"

(Y/N) "Yeah, you think so?"

(Soyeon) "Yeah, you look like a professional."

Carefully, you scan yourself in the mirror.

(Y/N) "I'll take it!"

(Shop assistant) "Good choice sir."

He takes it to the till and reads the price.

(Shop assistant) "That will be 450,000 won sir."

(Y/N) "450,000!?"

(Shop assistant) "That includes the pants and tie too."

(Y/N) "I can't afford that."

(Soyeon) "You won't need to worry about that when you are the most famous therapist in Seoul."

You both laugh at her joke as she takes out her purse.

(Soyeon) "Here, I'll put some towards it."

She hands you 150,000 won.

(Y/N) "Thanks."

You hand the assistant your bank card. He then hands you the clothes in a pretentious bag.

(Shop assistant) "Thanks for coming, have a good day. Good luck with your interview.'

(Y/N) "Oh, yeah thanks. See you soon."

You leave the store and head back to the car.

(Soyeon) "I didn't think it would cost so much."

(Y/N) "Me neither, I hope you were right about me being a famous therapist haha."
