3| Where Are We

Cas's POV

Once Sam said she saw what I saw I knew for sure something wasn't right. I had a bad feeling when we started. Now I was positive something was going to happen to us. I turn to look at Sam but she wasn't there. I was then going to grab Katie and run but everything went black.

Katie's POV

While Sam was pointing at the figure Cas saw, I froze. There was nothing I could do to help in any way right now. This is all so strange. I then saw the figure get closer so I closed my eyes and I don't remember much after that. I woke up tied up in a chair. Next to me Cas was also tied up and she seemed to have been awake for a few minutes long then me. I lean over as much as I can to see if Sam is on the other side of Cas. Low and behold she is.

"Sam. Sam wake up"

Cas was whispering in an attempt to not be heard by what or who ever took us.

Cas's POV

I woke up before the others. But I didn't have to wait too long as Katie woke up soon after me. But Sam was still passed out so j tried to wake her up.

"Sam. Sam wake up"

She didn't even move. I began to think of all the worse possible things that could've happened. I took a deep breath and tried to stay calm. I then look over to Katie who seems to be taking this better then I would have thought.

"Got any ideas for how to get out"

"Not now. Have you seem who or whatever took us"

"No but I keep hearing things"

Now Katie and I are both trying to think of ways to get out. Whatever took us is not happy. I can feel that. I hear footsteps approaching us. I turn to Katie who looks more scared then she did a second ago.

"Pretend your asleep"

I whispered to her to not draw attention to us. But once Katie pretended to be asleep the thing came in the room. It was still just a figure and I couldn't make out much as of now but I could tell it wasn't human.

"What are you"

I spoke loud and with confidence to make it seem like I wasn't about to break down and cry. It didn't say anything untill I could see it.

"No you can't be"

"Oh but I am. See I'm a djinn"

"But I thought.."

"Your wrong. I am the last of my kind in this state. I love it here full of clueless idiots. Well except for you apparently. And you can't do anything. You and your friends will die"

"So then what's with the spirits"

"Oh they mean nothing"

I took a second to process things. So my family hadn't gotten ride of all the djinn. But the spirits were trying to tell us something but I'm not sure what. I can tell it's not about this though. Then I notice Sam taping her finger and I realize she has been awake this hole time. I hope she has a plan.

Sam's POV

I've been listening to the conversation and I can tell Cas hasn't told me the complete truth about her family. But I'll worry about that later. Right now we need to get out of here. I had my hands free but my legs were still tied to the chair. I tapped my finger a bit to let Cas know I'm awake. As for the thing that took us. It seems to be personal. I just hope someone finds us or we get out soon.

Dash's POV

It's been 3 hours since I last heard from Sam. It's 7pm and she should be home by now. Our parents were out but when they get home if she isn't here they are going to freak. I make my way to the park where I know she was. But I find no sign of her or her friends. I walk towards the more secluded part of the park. I know they stay out of there but what is something happened to them. Eventually I reach the hidden cabin. I check the perimeter first then I slowly and quietly make my way in. I hear someone talking in the next room. I can tell it's Cas but I can't make out the other voice. I hide and wait for the other person to leave. When he does I make sure to stay where I am till he's outside. Then I make my way to the room with the girls.

"Hey Cas"

"Oh Dash wow. Are you here to save us"

"Yeah something like that"

"Hey guys it's just Dash you can sit up now"

"Hey big bro. Nice to see you"

"Yeah same little sis. Do you need help"

"No help Katie I'll be fine"

I help Katie out of the ropes and she thanks me. My sister gets out herself and then she helps Cas. We then think it's best the go out the back as it would be safer.

Sam's POV

We get out thanks to Dash and we make our way home. I decided it was best not to tell my parents. Cas went home and Katie got picked up. I went into my house and went straight up stairs to take a shower. When I got out my parents were home and I need sleep. I woke up late the next day and got to school late. I need to talk to Cas today. I just hope she's free after school. Second day of school and I still don't like it. At least I see Katie in another 2 of my classes. Her and I talked about what happened. She was still a little shook up. I don't blame her. I have one question though. What is a djinn and why does it want us. Well I guess that's 2 questions but still. I just hope Cas has answers.
