Kody x male reader (Lumine) HIATUS

Untitled Part 2

I did go back when it was dark. I had my guitar back in my bag so no one could see it.

"Ah, Y/n! You were gone so long I thought you were lost!" Aiden said.

"Doesn't seem like you'd care that much in that case." I said bitter.

"Why so bitter?"

"Your son gave Lumine some weird substance, maybe even poison. I've been deceived by a lot of people before, so I won't trust anyone fast." I said.

"I guess that's fair."

"It is. I'm going to my room, get me if you need something."

I walked away but Aiden called me back.

"What's in that bag."

"None of your concerns."

"It is since you work for me."

"Fine then. It's a guitar."

"A guitar?"

"Yes."

"Okay, have a good night."

I nodded and speed-walked to my room. I put my guitar in a corner and sat down on the bed.

"This sucks." I mumbled.

A ghostly figure of a boy with brown, short hair, green eyes and freckles appeared, but I knew it was just my imagination.

"I'm sorry, Alex." I said.

The image disappeared as my eyes started to water.

It was my fault he died. He didn't have to die. If only I was more careful. If only I had noticed that detail. If only...

I fell asleep after a bit. I woke up because of a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's me." Lumine answered.

"Come in."

Lumine opened the door and looked concerned.

"What is it?"

"You thought about him again, didn't you."

"I can't help it."

"And you couldn't have done anything about it back then. It's not your fault. Even Alex said it."

"I still...no, forget it. Why did you come here?"

"Ah, we need to go find Kody."

"Why would I?"

"You're his bodyguard too."

I clicked my tongue and changed. I had no choice but to dress as Lumine.

We went to the place where the ladder to the attic was when we saw Aiden on the ground.

"Ah, Lumine, Y/n, Kody is in the attic again." Aiden said.

I chose to ignore the fact that he was on the ground as a stuffed wolf was thrown at Lumine's face.

We went up the ladder, into the attic.

"Do you like wolves? I didn't expect that, you're more like a cat person. I like bunnies, wolves are cool too though...I see them more as my siblings."

Lumine you utter idiot.

"Siblings?" Kody questioned.

"I-uh...I mean..."

I signed him to shut up.

"S-sorry Y/n."

"I still won't accept you as a bodyguard." Kody said.
