Chapter 7

~Cora's POV~

we where in Sophie's room i was by the window as Jack eases Sophie into her bed, but she has a tight hold around his neck he trys fighting to get her off him making me laugh he glears at me but i just smile i was seeing Jack in a whole new light at first i just saw him as a good looking guy who was going to be fun to flirt with then it turned into a flirty friendship but the more i got to know him ill admit i got a crush on him and now its more he listened to me let me cry i snap out of my thoughts with a bang i look seeing Sophie on the floor he looks at me in worry "Sophie, is that you?" i hear her mum call i throw her blanket over her as she keeps sleeping as Jack throws a squeaky toy down by her making me laugh more "why?" i laugh as we clime out of the window "i dont know i never had kids" he tells me i laugh "neither did i but i know not to throw a squeaky toy at a child" i tell him he smiles and leans on the wall i lock eyes with him smiling myself this moment seemed perfect he gets slightly closer and so do i he leans in and i follow him we get so close to kissing when "Tha- that voice, I know that voice" Jack says i open my eyes "what?" i ask confused he suddenly flies off "i cart fly!" i call but nothing i follow the wind deep into the woods until i see Jack standing there "ok Frost you left me back there mind explain...ing" i say as i spot an old rotted bedpost with no mattress i knew this place all to well Jack starts walking towards it, but i grab him "Jack please" i beg him "Don't worry" he tells me "hay we really should head back" i tell him "there's still time" he says and keeps walking towards the bed, then knocks some pieces away with his staff to see into the hole below the bed my heart seems to stop "J...Jack" i stutter but he leaps into the darkness i grown and follow after him "Jack we really shouldn't be here" i tell him in worry i didnt have the power to back him up this time "come on! I have to find out what that is!" Jack tells me "what what is?" i ask him confused then i look around spotting all the cages filled with tooths little fairys Jack flies into the open-air chasm, noticing all the cages. He flies to them and the other tooth fairies start chittering back "Ssh, keep it down! 'M gonna get you out of here just as soon as..." Jack says as i spot all the teeth capsules and i find myself looking though them "Jack i found the teeth!" i call he flys down and begins to look though them "Looking for something?" i hear Pitch say and freeze Jack fires an ice blast at where Pitch was, then we chase him through dark corridors its best to stick together "Hehehe... Don't be afraid" Pitch tells us i spot Pitch on a bridge and pull out my whip "I'm not gonna' hurt you" Pitch tells us both me and Jack get onto the bridge "Afraid? I'm not afraid of you neither of us are" Jack says not going to lie i was a little scired "Maybe not. But you are afraid of something..." Pitch fades away "you think so huh?" Jack asks "I know so! It's the one thing I always know people's greatest fears Cora's is fire and her past and Yours is that no one will ever believe in you" Pitch says as his shadow overtakes us both and we fall through the bridge and into another dark corridor "And worst of all, you're afraid you'll never know why why you?" Pitch says and reappears in front of us "Why were you chosen? To be like this. Well fear not, for the answer to that... is right here" Pitch says and holds out Jack's tooth-box "Do you want them, Jack? Your memories" Pitch says Jack reaches for the box, but pulls his hand back, so Pitch laughs as he vanishes again, leaving us to dart off through the bird cages Pitch forms his body shape out of Jack's shadow "Everything you wanted to know - in this little box" Pitch says and laughs some more "Why did you end up like this? Unseen, unable to reach out to anyone - you want the answers so badly. You want to grab them and fly off with them, but you're afraid of what the Guardians will think. You're afraid of disappointing them. Well let me ease your mind about one thing: they'll never accept you, not really..." i cut Pitch off "STOP IT!" i yell "After all, you're not one of them neither of you are" Pitch says he appears from the shadows again, backing us up against his dark globe of the Earth "You don't know what we are" i growl at Pitch "Course I do! You're Jack Frost! and your Cora O'halloween you make a mess wherever yous go - why you're doing it right now" Pitch says and tosses the box to us Jack catches it "What did you do?" me and Jack ask together "More to the point Jack, what did you do?" Pitch asks and grabs me pulling me to him and pushes Jack up to a stone wall and Jack disappears though it "JACK!" i yell "now its time for us to have a little chat" Pitch says coldly making a shiver run down my spine i feel black sand wrap around me and i fall though the floor 

~Jack's POV~

the darkness fades away and i was in Jamie's town again i look around "Cora? Cora where are you?" i ask while looking around Pitch still had her i growl "There's nothing here" " I give up, come on lets just go home" "halloween's for kids anyway" "this was stupid bearly anyone is out" "i thought the party was going to be here again this year i guess not" i hear kids say as they take off there masks whats going on? then i hear "w...we cart get though!" the voice sounded like Kandi i follow it and see North, Bunny and Tooth by one of Cora's doors on the other side was Kandi and other monsters they where banging on an invisible wall "nothings working!" she adds then i see North look my way "Jack!...where's Cora? the doors wont let anyone though" North says to me "they wont?" i ask confused "we cart get back in and nothings made it though mate" Bunny tells me "im too old for all this stupid fantsy crap Tooth fairy, Santa the Easter bunny its all stupid and not real" a young girl says and walks though Bunny shocking us all "Not- not true! I'm- I'm right in front of ya', mate! we all are" Bunny tells them but nothing "Jack! Where did you get that?" Tooth asks and walks closer to me i look down seeing i still had my tooth box "i...i was..." i stutter how was i meant to tell them "Where's Cora?" Tooth asks colder than iv ever heard her sound i gulp and look away "what have you done?!" she snaps even though they wernt friends while we've worked together they got close "That is why you weren't here? You were with Pitch? You left Cora with him didnt you?" North asks me "please tell me you didnt leave her with him" Tooth begs "No, listen! Listen! I'm sorry! I didn't mean for this to happen!" i tell them Bunny glears coldly at me "He has to go" Bunny growls i turn to face him "What?" i ask him in shock "We should never have trusted you! Cora i understood she works hard she cares for kids but you look what you've done you left her with him!" Bunny yells and it struck hard he wasn't wrong i should have just listened to her i turn and fly away 

~Cora's POV~

when my sight clears i have shackles around my wrists i try to brake out but i couldn't I look around and recognize the room and grown "why am I here?" I ask Pitch knowing he was larking in the shadows "because where else would I put you remember all the fun times we had here?" Pitch says as he steps into the light I stay quite he laughs "now she stays quite thats new" he adds I glear at him and try to use my power to brake out "I wouldn't do that if I was you" he says "and whys that?" I growl at him "because you have my black sand running though your body and the more you use your power the more my sand gets to work slowly killing you until you fade away" he tells me I laugh "you wouldn't you need me alive or you would have killed me sooner" I tell him smirking he nods "your assistance would speed things up but im fine with killing you as I found another whos power is more suited for what I want ill give you one guess on who it is" he tells me "Jack" I mutter he nods "correct you where always a smart girl...now look at all that colour draining from you" Pitch teases me lifting up my once orange hair that had now faded to gray "let me go" I tell him he shakes his head and grabs my Skelton key and holds it up "join me and I will" he says smirking "im not joining you i may enjoy a good jump scare but what you do to the children could scar them forever" i growl he snaps my key stopping any escapes ideas I had he then leans in close to my ear "i dont care" is all he says i headbutt him knocking him to the floor i see blood come from his noise he wipes it smirking "let the fun begin" he tells me
