The class responded groggily, and without enthusiasm.
Mr. Shay frowned, and walked up to the front of the class. He grabbed a ruler and smacked it against the desk.
Damn. I wish he could smack me like that . . .
"Listen up, finals are coming up and I need y'all to listen. Now, work on what you were doing yesterday and let me eat my lunch 'cause I skipped today."
I chuckled, and leaned against my desk so I was showing my cleavage and smirked up at him, unaware that the dude next to me was eyeing me as if I were some piece of meat.

I glanced at him and was like, "What?"
He flinched and shook his head, turning around with a dark red blush on his face.
