it was May 18th, prom night. slow dancing with jabez. while y'all were dancing the night away, jabez was leaning in for a kiss and you suddenly fell. once you hit the ground, yo dumbass woke up 😭😭😂. (oops). y/s: y/n, wake the fuck up. its your prom day

your sister got defensive as fuck. we dont even wanna know what this girl said, but lets just know your brother had to leave the house for a few hours. prom starts at 8pm for pictures, then at 9pm it actually starts. it was 2pm and your sister just started your hair and makeup, she finished at 4pm. yes sis, it takes 2 hours.

you got into jabez's car and he started driving to the place. his right hand resting on your thigh.

you smiled. it was just a few minutes and you guys arrived to prom. they already had started the photos. once yourself and jabez stepped inside, all eyes were on you. everyone took pictures and videos of you both, gassing you up.

your brother and dre had left, dre was full of jealousy. other than that, your dream finally came true. a slow song came on, jabez approached you.

all that you've been dreaming about had come true, all because of jabez. while you guys were dancing for a few minutes, all close together. he lifted your chin and leaned in for a kiss. y'all kissed. jabez pulled away.
j: look. i need to tell you something
y/n: what is it?
j: im gonna be gone for the summer.
