it was now day two of spirit week and today was dress like your favorite christmas movie.

the two boys, jack and zach's, favorite christmas movie had been 'ELF'. so over the weekend, christina helped pick out an elf themed outfit for the boys.

she got zach and outfit based off of buddy. he was wearing yellow ripped jeans with a green jacket and black belt over it. and to top it off he was wearing a green little top hat.

for jack, he was wearing a pink t-shirt tucked into white shorts. he also had on his white high top converse and the white fuzzy jacket over his shoulders.

they insisted he wear it again.

as spirit week came, so did exam week. for highschool, they did exams tuesday through friday giving them an extra review day on monday.

though, because all the boys were seniors, they only had to come tuesday and wednesday for their first three or four periods.

jack and zach were currently walking to there music class to take the exam.

the boys had already been there, having the other two went to the bathroom. as they sat down, the teacher reminded them that there review packets would be due tomorrow.

everyone nodded at the information, continuing to get prepared.

"hey, jack." an unfamiliar voice whispered to the blonde.

jack looked up at the boy, humming for him to continue.

"i didn't do the review packet, i need your answers." he said sticking his hand out.

jack shook his head before continuing, "you should have done it, i don't like to give out my answers." jack said politley.

"what? you think your cool 'expressing your girly side' and being best friends with popular kids? well guess what kid, you're not. so just give me the answers." the boy said rudely, putting quotation marks and reaching to take jack's answers.

that hit jack hard. he had always been one to over think things, so what if the boy was right.

did he not look good expressing his style? were his friends actually his friends?

so, jack watched as the boy reached to take his answers. though, was soon stopped by the familar voice.

zach had pulled jack's packet away from the boy harrasing Jack.

"i pretty sure he said he was good; now, leave him alone and do your own damn work." zach grumbled rolling his eyes.

the dude rolled his eyes but turned around back in his seat.

jack sighed in relief, he didn't want to give out his answer but in the moment he felt so weak.

"thanks, you didn't have to that." jack said giving a small smile to the older.

"it's no problem, anything for my best friend." zach said, the words rolling off his tongue making both boys cringe at the term.

"but-" jack started, hesitating a bit, leaving zach intent to know what the boy was going to say.

"is what he said true?" jack questioned his crush, a small pout on his face.

zach sighed frowning at the younger. "you are the most beautiful person i have ever seen no matter what your style is," the brunette started making the younger giggle happily.

"and we are your friends, best friends in fact; and i can promise you that." zach said pulling the curly-headed in for a hug.

the rest cooed at the boys having them ease drop on the boy's conversation.

"now for your exam today-"
