"wow, jung hoseok what a pleasant surprise." hoseok stared at the girl in front of him with a blank expression. the girl had a sarcastic smirk on her face and her eyes dimmed when she saw him. "are you here to gloat about how you'll finally have me out of your hair?"

hoseok stared at her in silence as she ridiculed him. when she was finally some, he blinked and asked, "are you really moving?"

she felt like there was more to the question so she answered hesitatingly. "yes."

hoseok stared at her for a little while without any reaction. "ok, bye." he said suddenly, immediately turning and leaving.

she knew he'd always hated her so she was surprised that he didn't seem more excited over her leaving. but the way he acted was strange and made her worry even more since he didn't seem happy at all about it.

"get up, loser." seokjin pushed jeongguk off the couch and threw himself down, quickly switching the channel to a different show. he glanced down at jeongguk's unmoving body and his eyes widened. at the same time, yoongi walked out of the kitchen. "he's dead."

yoongi glanced lazily from the body on the floor towards the horrified man on the couch. "jeongguk get up, you're scaring jin."

a few moments later jeongguk finally started moving slowly. after a little while he was fully standing up, looking like a mess. soekjin felt his soul leave his body. "he's turned into a ghost. or a zombie."

namjoon came out of the kitchen holding a bowl of strawberries and slapped seokjin's head. "he's alive, you idiot."

the second he heard his words, seokjin hurled out a finger and aggressively jabbed jeongguk in the side. jeongguk jumped back, yelling in pain as he glared at seokjin and put a hand over where he'd just been jabbed. "what the fuck."

seokjin leaned back in his chair slowly once he confirmed namjoon's words. "don't swear."

jeongguk threw himself down on a chair. everyone else's attention was suddenly drawn to him, aside from seokjin who stole namjoon's strawberries to eat while he watched his show.

"are you alr-"

"hush!" seokjin screamed the second he heard someone disrupting his show.

yoongi signaled for jeongguk to follow him and the three of them quietly left the angry man alone in the living room.

"we heard your girlfriend was moving," namjoon said carefully once they were far enough away from seokjin. jeongguk nodded but didn't say anything. "is that why you've been so upset recently?"

"would you be thrilled to find out that your girlfriend was leaving the country?"

"i don't think so," yoongi said.

"that's what i thought." jeongguk sighed.

yoongi was sitting still like a statue, staring at jeongguk. namjoon scrunched up his face and gave yoongi a weird look before breaking the silence. "why's she moving."

"she's going to a better school over there. it's actually good that she's moving, it'll help her future a lot."

"i'm glad you're looking at it that way, at least." namjoon muttered.

"what about the other girl?"

namjoon and jeongguk both turned to look at yoongi simultaneously. "what other girl?" jeongguk looked at him oddly.

"the one i saw you with when i picked you up from the campus last night."

jeongguk realized what yoongi was talking about and laughed. you and him had still been sitting on the bench talking when yoongi had arrived to get jeongguk.

"she's just a friend a met through hoseok and jimin."

"do you like her?"

"i have a girlfriend..." jeongguk narrowed his eyes at his friend. "and besides, she's got a thing for taehyung."

"taehyung?" yoongi frowned when he heard the name. "poor girl."

"what's wrong?"

"i know that fool. he doesn't date. she's just longing for something she can't have, she'll probably get over him soon." yoongi sighed and started rummaging through the fridge.

"jeongguk, aren't you friends with him too?"

"yeah, i forgot about that tho."

yoongi came back to sit by them, holding a small box of orange juice. "ok, enough about taehyung. what're you going to do about your girlfriend?"

jeongguk stared at the table in front of him in deep thought. "follow her," namjoon laughed, not noticing the way jeongguk's eyes lit up after hearing him.

"what idiot would move to another country just because their girlfriend was going there?"

"i will." yoongi and namjoon stared at him with blank eyes.

"what do you mean?" yoongi asked cautiously.

"namjoon just said it. i'll follow her there. i can try for the college she's going to, it's better than the one i'm out anyways. if it works, then i'll get to stay with her and have an even better education." they both frowned as they listened to him.

"jeongguk, you can't just get up and move to a different country." yoongi glared at namjoon who was frozen, staring at jeongguk with big eyes.

"this is all your fault, stupid. now he thinks he can just up and leave to a different country." yoongi complained.

"it was literally a joke, how was i supposed to know he'd actually consider it?"
