Chp. 8

I woke up, like usual in my bed. Looking over at the clock on the nightstand, it read 8:45 AM. 'Crap, I'm going to be late' I thought as I stood up and ran to the closet, quickly putting on my uniform whilst walking towards the kitchen. Finally getting the uniform on and tying my tie, I took a toast before walking out the house and locking the door. Looking at my watch, I only had 5 minutes before the bell rang and i usually take 15 minutes to get there. Sighing, I said quietly to my self "Za warudo"

But nothing happened, trying it again only confirmed that. I had lost my powers. As I stood there, trying to cope with the shock of loosing them, I started walking towards the school. It seemed like I took a detour seeing as it took more than 15 minutes. Looking around my surroundings I found myself on a crossroads where every way lead into an abyss. Taking a random direction, with each junction I found myself more and more lost within myself until I heard something roaring. Looking to my left the darkness disappeared and I found myself looking into the blinding head lights of a truck, to which I closed my eyes before the impact but it never came.

Opening my eyes, I found myself somewhere else and looking around made me realize that I was back in front of my home, which paralized me. Quickly checking if the door is locked, I made my way to school and this time i made sure I got there even if my head is in chaos, and as I stepped onto the Highschool grounds no body was outside. Looking at my watch told me I missed the first period and it was about midway the second one, so I quick stepped my way to my class but before I went in, I tried to make up an excuse. Knocking on the door, I heard the entire class silence down and the teacher slowly making his way towards the door. As the doors opened, I was shocked to see myself at level with the teacher, well a little bit taller, being used to tower over people it made me quite nervous as to what is going on here. Pulling myself out of my thoughts, I finally realized that the teacher, which I have never seen was asking me a question which I'll never forget.

??: "Hey, you deaf or something? Who are you and why do you have an uniform on?"

Y/n: "U-uh, I'm Y-y/n L/n from class 3-C"

??: "Huh, Y/n L/n... Whats your excuse?"

Y/n: "There were road blocks everywhere, seems like they're already preparing the yearly marathon, so I guess it will be early this year..." And that was a lie.

Teacher: "Take your seat, and a tip for the next time, don't make up such lame excuses." He let me inside and I took a look at my class, I was shocked to see that Rias and Akeno were there even when my powers went away. Quickly making my way to my table, I found myself being tripped by someone and luckily my hands softened the fall. As I was picking myself up, I found myself face to face with smirking Rias and it made my blood boil with anger and as I tried to keep my cool, she just giggled with that annoying ass voice of hers. Finally standing right up, I got to my seat and sat down with a thought 'If I lost my powers... Does that mean Dio somehow died?? No its impossible, he was a spirit.' As I was thinking more and more of a possibility of losing Dio's powers, the more and more terrified I became and it must've been obvious because Rias was gazing at me with a shitty smirk of hers. As I stared more and more at her smirk, the more and more I realized that I am nothing more than a human... Someone who devils thought are worthless life stock and that fumed my anger more and more, they didn't couldn't care less about collateral damage if they're weaker than them. I was suddenly brought back out of my thoughts by the teacher grabbing my shoulder and even if didn't hurt, it made me look bad. I apologized to the teacher and continued with the school time until the lunch. I didnt leave for cafeteria seeing as it wasn't mandatory, so I was left alone with a couple of the students. Suddenly the door opened and in came rushing Issei stopping by the teachers desk and looking around before laying his eyes on me.
