Lucy's P.O.V
I stared at the man who I now knew as Yuma as he planted a seedling in the empty part of the soil. "The next seedling, hand it to me." I handed it to him. He began to plant the seedling. Once he finished he looked at me. "Lunch ends soon." I nodded.
"I know"
"And yet you stayed." My eyes widened before I nodded.
"Yeah"
"Why?"
"To help you." He looked at me. "Yuma?"
"You are dating Shu right?" I shook my head. How did he know about my relationship with Shu?
"No"
"You have his scent." Why was he saying that...unless he was like Shu. Don't tell me- "It's strong"
"Why are you saying that?"
"Because I know you know." He said as he stood in front of me. To my surprise, I had been right. Still, I didn't want to admit it. "Tomorrow, meet me here."
"B..But-"
"You wanted to help me right? We will do more gardening tomorrow." I wasn't supposed to see Shu during school. I guess this can work then. It isn't like I can't have my own life. "What?"
"Nothing" He nodded before he started to walk away.
"Wait Yuma, what do I do with the rest of these seedlings?"
"Put them in the greenhouse." He walked off. I nodded before I walked in the direction I remembered from earlier. As I walked I looked around but noticed that these plants didn't look familiar. As I continued I couldn't find anymore that I could remember. Was I lost?
If so then I only had about five minutes before I had to go to class. Turning around, I saw Shu. "You lost again?"
"Shu-san?" He took my hand and pulled me through the garden. As we go to a place finally remembered I spoke. "I have to return the seedlings." He stopped.
He grabbed the tray. "You're going to annoy me about this anyway."
I smiled at him. "Shu-san, thank you." I ran toward the exit.
Shu's P.O.V
Nothing of her was out of the ordinary but I knew one thing for sure. I didn't want Lucy to be around him anymore. If so I feel like she would learn something that will only cause more of a headache for both of us. I walked inside the greenhouse and sat the seedlings down. For some reason, I couldn't help but feel envy. Why were those two together and how did he meet her?
Today was her first day. Another thing, who was she running from before she came into the music room? I might have to start keeping her closer towards me.
