Chapter 17~Hello Again~

A/N: This is unfortunately the last part of this story. There will be an epilogue after this. I am working on another story which will be out at some point in the future. You can comment here if you'd like to suggest some ideas for that book or another book you'd like to see written. The book I'm currently working on is an AU where both Emilie and Gabriel are alive but things happen where Gabriel is out of the picture and Marinette and Adrien are childhood friends. I'm not sure when I'll be finished with it but I will update this book when it is finished and going to be posted.

A Couple Weeks Later~Friday

Marinette and Adrien were snuggled together on her chaise in her room. Marinette working in her sketchbook while Adrien looked at each of her pencil strokes over her shoulder. They had been spending more time together as of late since Adrien was now allowed much more free time and there were no more akuma attacks to interrupt them since Hawkmoth was no more. Alya was a little sad that there weren't anymore akuma attacks or Ladybug and Chat Noir sightings but she knew that it was for the best since it meant that Paris was safe from any kind of magical danger. Nino and Marinette permanently switched seats so that the two couples could sit together during class.

"Marinette! Adrien!" Sabine called to them from downstairs.

"What is it, Maman?" she yelled back not wanting to move from their comfortable position.

"There is someone here to see you both!"

"We'll be right down!"

"Do we have to?" Adrien groaned not wanting to let go of Marinette as she tried to get up.

"Yes, silly kitty. You heard my Maman. There is someone to see us. Now let me go and let's go down to see who it is."

"Alright," he said as he let Marinette get up. He took her hand as she led him down the stairs to the front door to see who their visitor was. They reached the door and Marinette opened it. They only saw a sealed package and a letter that was addressed to them. Adrien picked up the box and Marinette took the letter and they both went back up to Marinette's room. They both looked around to see if there was any inkling of the person that left them this package.

"What do you have there, dear?" Sabine asked before they made it back to Marinette's room.

"Oh. It's a package from whoever was at the door. It's addressed to Adrien and I so we were going to open it up in my room."

"Alright. Go on ahead. Just be careful."

"Don't worry. We'll be careful, Maman." They proceeded up the ladder and through the trapdoor. They sat down on Marinette's bed. She began reading the letter as Adrien set the package down in front of them.

Adrien, Marinette,

You probably were not expecting this to happen. This package contains the ladybug and cat miraculous. After you had left a couple of weeks ago, Tikki and Plagg both enjoyed seeing their friends once again. However, they both missed you dearly. They came to ask me if they could have the both of you as their masters once more. At least until the time came for them to be passed on to the next Ladybug and Chat Noir or when I must leave Paris. I happily agreed with them seeing as both of you have done a wonderful job already. They also seemed so happy with both of you compared to even the best of their past owners. Please take good care of them. Until then.

Master Fu

After listening to the letter, Marinette gave it to Adrien so he could read it for himself and got up to get a pair of scissors from her desk to open the package. After opening it, they saw the same familiar ornate wooden boxes that they had received the first time they met their kwamis. They looked at each other.

"Are you ready?" Adrien asked. Marinette nodded. They grabbed their respective boxes. Marinette's was labeled and on the right side and Adrien's had the same label on the opposite side. They opened the boxes together. Two balls of light, one pink and one green, flew around them to reveal their kwamis.

"Tikki!"

"Plagg!"

"Marinette!"

"Adrien!" The four of them came together in a group hug. Adrien and Plagg went down from Marinette's bed to give Marinette and Tikki some privacy during their reunion as well as get some of their own.

With Adrien and Plagg

"So...you missed me?" Adrien teased with a smirk on his face.

"Shut up! I was worried about you is all."

"Right," Adrien said as he rolled his eyes.

"It's true!" Plagg huffed crossing his arms and turning away from Adrien.

"I'm sorry. I missed you too," Adrien said as he took Plagg in his hands to give him a hug.

"It's ok. I'm glad that you've at least been taking care of yourself."

"You can credit that to Marinette reminding me to keep myself in mind more than I used to."

"I knew she was a good one," Plagg said landing on Adrien's head.

"Yeah," Adrien said with a sigh and stupid grin on his face in complete agreement with Plagg.

With Marinette and Tikki

"I missed you so much, Tikki," Marinette said as she brought the red creature mottled with black spots to her face.

"I missed you too Marinette!" Tikki squeaked. "How are things going at school?"

"It's been kinda hard getting there on time without you there in the morning, but otherwise it's fine. I still oversleep even without the late night patrols and akuma fights. On the bright side Nino and I switched seats so that he could sit with Alya and I could sit with Adrien during our classes. Adrien has also been coming by to wake me up and walk with me to school."

"That's good to hear. I was worried about you while I was with Master Fu. Though I trusted that Adrien would take care of you."

"Oh, Tikki! I'm so glad you're back!"

"Me too!" In their complete joy at seeing one another again, they didn't notice that Plagg and Adrien had gone back up.

"What do you guys want to do now?" Adrien asked as he reached the top of the stairs.

"I'm not sure," Marinette said placing her pointer finger against her mouth thinking.

"You could transform?" Everyone in the room was astonished that the suggestion had come from Plagg. Tikki was the first one to break free of the stupor.

"Plagg is right. Though it hasn't been too long since you both transformed last, the outfits might have changed since the last time we saw you since both of you have grown so much."

"Do you want to?" Adrien asked.

"If they think it's best. Then yes."

"You know the words!" Plagg and Tikki said in unison.

"Plagg, Claws Out!"

"Tikki, Spots On!"
