Leo sighed, "Well, I died, the explosion killed me."
Percy's whole demeanour changed from curious to sympathetic her hand reaching out to clasp his, as she listened.
"The Physician's Cure. The cure brought me back, my goal with this was to find Calypso again," he told her and Percy nearly choked on her rum and coke at the mention of the goddess she once had slight feelings for when she was 15.
Leo chuckled at her response, to the name. Her sea-green eyes flickering around her as if thinking the goddess was nearby.
Leo laughed at her expression, "She's not here Percy, and thank the gods she isn't."
Percy cocked an eyebrow in question, "Didn't you die for her?"
"I did."
"That means you loved her."
"I did."
Percy's jaw dropped, she had never heard Leo sound as mature as he did now, but just as carefree as always. "What happened?"
Leo shrugged his shoulders, "It didn't work out."
"What do you mean, it didn't work out?"
"Well I fulfilled my promise we traveled with one another for a few months, but she started changing. Started talking about revenge and death, then she was gone."
Percy didn't like the sound of that, but instead of dwelling on it she smiled.
"So tell me everything!"
Leo flashed her his quirky smile before he leaned forward and talked about his travels and all the beautiful places he saw despite the dark cloud that was hanging above him.

After two more rounds of fries and coke the two left the grill bright grins on their faces.
Leo had his arm thrown over her shoulder, his body heat welcoming. He had its told her how he and Festus dive bombed off the Eiffel Tower.
The girl let out a laugh that felt foreign on her tongue, "What were you thinking?" She chuckled as they made their way to her car.
Leo smirked, "I don't it interrupts with me being nuts."
"So where are we going now?"
"The hospital," Percy answered her good mood fading with thought of her parents still in hospital.
Leo turned to look at her his brown eyes concerned.
"Who died?"
"No one. Yet," she thought of turning around and staking Stefan, but she decided against it. She wouldn't do that to Damon. He was her friend.
