Such a Sad Diamond

Prologue

It's dark in here. That was her first thought, though it didn't last for long. In a bundle of bright blue light a massive being stepped out of the cliff face. "Wha-" her sentence wasn't finished as she was cut off by many smaller gems surrounding her and cheering. "Hello there moonlight" Blue looked up to see the only being that was taller than her. Blue. That's me. She was suddenly sure of that at least. Blue looked up at the massive shining white gem who had wrongly called her 'moonlight'. It was bigger than her by a head, well, if the size of the head in question was as big as this one's. "I-i am sorry. But I am Blue, not starlight" Blue's voice was raspy since it was basically the first time she used it. "OH! Ha ha ha! You certainly are blue! And just as planned. It seems these peridots aren't such failures after all. Yellow diamond, see to it that they are each gifted there own pearl for helping to create my third in command." The white one said to a being that was roughly the same size as blue, but was coloured yellow and wore a helmet instead. 'Yellow diamond' nodded promptly and turned to walk into what seemed to be a giant yellow hand. The white one turned back to Blue. "I am White diamond, and take note, I am the only being superior to you. Everything else will be under our rule." Blue diamond nodded, it was all she could do with the feelings from all the gems surrounding her clashing together in her mind. There was one feeling that stood out though, the feeling that this was going to be a very long day.
