Chapter 4

From this point on, there will be pictures of Luigi himself in different outfits (Mr. L might be included) and maybe other versions of Allison as well. I did say that Allison knows about Mr. L so there could be a picture of Ms. A somewhere?

The elevator doors opened revealing a confident Allison Gadd and a... less confident Luigi Mario... within the elevator. Allison was ready to take on the floor while Luigi put his best foot forward. Allison looked over the couch to her right remembering that's where things went downhill. To her left was the rooms the Toads were staying in and perhaps her father as well.

Speaking of which, Elvin was calling them through the VB.

"Allison, Luigi," he said into his microphone. "I just remembered something I neglected to mention... The Poltergust 7000 has a new feature called Suction Shot. All you need to do is shoot a plunger, suck the rope, and pull. It's as simple as that. Sadly, the Poltergust 5000 doesn't have that ability, so Allison has to borrow a plunger from Luigi."

"I see... If we were to bring you another plunger of some sort, could I have my own? Not that I mind sharing with Luigi, but I don't want to bother him about it."

"Hm... I have some spare rope, so yes. I think I also can make a plunger out of those gems you've collected, so whichever comes first."

"That's cool. By the way, red lights like this are bound to give people massive headaches, you know. That's most likely why older games had green screens."

"I'll keep that in mind, Allison. I'll keep that in mind."

With that, Luigi had put the VB away and took out a plunger.

"Which way first, Alice?" he asked.

"Um... Let's find my father's briefcase first. We could always come back and check out our hotel rooms after we get it."

Luigi nodded and shot two plungers at the suitcases. He and Allison sucked the ends of the ropes and flipped the suitcases together as one. They went to the rooms searching for Elvin's room. 

Which they found, but a ghost maid was there.

She was dusting the room and looking at Elvin's briefcase. Allison tried to sneak up behind her, but the door made some noise which alerted the maid. Much to their surprise, the maid ate the briefcase and went to another room.

Allison almost caught her before she left, but her face met the wall causing Luigi to hiss slightly.

"Stupid ghost maid," said Allison as she slowly started to slip from the wall. Luigi caught her as she fell. "Thanks, Lu-Lu. But she got away..."

"D-d-don't worry, Alice," he stuttered as he put Allison down. Allison didn't see the faint blush on Luigi's face that was growing. "We'll catch her. Shall we explore the room a little more?"

This made Allison feel better. While Luigi was explaining what happened to Elvin, Allison had cleared the bedroom and bathroom of money. She also found a ghost that was made out of gemstone materials which she collected of course.

"Luigi."

"Yes, Alice?"

"There's no way she's outside of the hotel. My money goes to her being in a spare room."

Allison was right. She had snuck to another room and she was trying to avoid them. Luigi accidentally shot a plunger at her which gave Allison an idea. She sucked the rope into her vacuum and flipped the maid over until the plunger had loosened and she had left the room.

They continued this process until the briefcase was free from the ghost maid and she had been sucked into Allison's vacuum. There was something in her vacuum.
