After another hour in Mal and Evie room, I decided to go confront Chad with everything. I hesitate when I make it to his room, is this what I really want? Do you walk out of this room as a single lady in a matter of minutes? I don't have time to decide, because suddenly the door opens and Chad stands there
"Hey Babe, what are you doing here?" He asks
"Do you have time to talk?" I ask him
"Not really but I guess a few minutes won't kill me" he says opening the door more so I can go inside. I sit down on his bed and he does the same
"So what's up?" He asks
"Have you been going round school saying your single? And making Evie do your homework for you?" I ask
"What?! How do you know about me making Evie do my homework?" He asks
"That's not the point, Chad! Have you or have you not been saying that your single?" I ask
"No, why would I do that when my girlfriend is the daughter of king Adam and queen Belle?" He asks
"Is that the only reason you're dating me? You know what, I should have listened to Lonnie when she said it was a bad idea to start dating you. And I know you told Evie that you were single so you could make her do your homework" I say standing up from his bed
"You think I would actually date someone like her? I only said it because I know she had a crush on me and she would do my homework. You're the only person I wanna be with" he say
"Stop with the lying, we're done" I say and then walk out of the room, slamming the door. I run down the corridor, tears rolling down my face. I fall back when I run into someone, landing on the floor
"Watch where your going. Hey, are you okay?" The voice of the person I ran into says
"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry for running into you" I struggle to get the words out
"You don't look okay" the voice says, I look up to see the handsome new students who I think is called Jay
"I'm fine really, I just broke up with my idiot boyfriend" I say, he helps me up
"Chad? I thought you were like end game, at least that's what Audrey has been going around saying" he says
"Really? Well she probably doesn't know that he has been telling people that he's single" I say
"He's not worth your tears, you wanna come with me and hang out with the others? It might make you happier" he asks
"No thank you, I think I just need some time alone" I say
"Alright, but remember that you can always talk to us if you need to" he says giving me a hug
"Thanks" I say before walking to my room, I never thought they would be so nice.
