بِسْمِ اللهِ الرحمنِ الرَّحيم
Chapter—1
Death

Dark brown eyes glazed at the sky. Admiring the creation of Allah ﷻ, the plain blue sky with fragments of clouds slowly moving, the big full moon, bright and tiny sparkling stars.

She didn't know for how long she was gazing and trying to increase her faith by admiring her lord's creation and praising it, but she moved away from the window as soon as the moon shied behind the cloud and the caller of Allah ﷻ called. Toward the success. Salah.

“Madiha.” Her father knocked on the door and called her name, to wake her up. She walked to the door. “I am leaving, please wake everyone up.”

“Yes, Abba.” She said and as soon he left, she came back to her room.

The prayer mat was already on the floor as she had prayed tahajjud. She peacefully finished her prayer, did her dhikr and sat down for a few minutes for supplication. Tears rolled down her eyes while she kept rubbing the tears on her entire face. For the hellfire wouldn't touch the place that had tears from the fear and love of Allah ﷻ.

She stood up, keeping the prayer mat back on its place, she went out to wake her mother and her sisters. She gently woke her mother who quickly woke and then walked to her sister's room.

Aliya, Mahira and the youngest one, Amna who is 6 years old. Quickly, not trying to wake Amna, she tried to wake Aliya and Mahira but it seemed impossible to wake them up.

“Wake up already. You are going to miss the prayer!” she groaned and pulled the blanket off them. Aliya gasped and immediately woke up, trying to fully comprehend on what's happening while Mahira was still soundly sleeping.

“Wake her up after coming from the bathroom.” Madiha said and walked out. She hates waking them, while constantly trying to wake them up she feels sleepy.

She took her Quran and sat down to recite surah yasin; Heart of the Quran. The one reads Surah yasin in the morning, Allah ﷻ fulfills his/her needs. سُبْحَانَ الله

After the recitation of the Quran, she read a few supplications that are to be read in the morning for the protection from all kinds of danger. Then she walked to the kitchen, to help her mother in preparing her siblings and father's tiffin.

The morning passed by helping her mother and attending Islamic physiology online class. It was a 9 month course with tests every month in the university. She joined 4 months ago.

“Emotions are generally categorized as being either positive or negative. Positive emotions normally bring pleasure, while negative emotions imply distress…” She intensely listened to the lecturer.

These classes had helped her alot in coming out of her shell and standing on her feet. She was still struggling but a part of her was at peace after all the horrible things she faced in her life.

“Breakfast is on the kitchen counter, just preheat before having it.” She hummed and handed over an empty glass of milk which her mother forcefully gave her.

“I am going to sleep, please prepare lunch.” She hummed but her mind was focused on the lectures.

“You heard me?” Again, she hummed.

Her mother sighed and walked out of the room. That's when she realized how she acted in front of her mother. She was supposed to listen while she spoke but here, she was paying more attention to her class than the women who deserve more respect than anything.

She felt guilty. “When will we ever be good muslim?” She sighed and sat back.

“That's a good concern, Miss Madiha.” She gasped and froze in her place.
