As the morning sun raised I still hadn't moved from my spot in the infirmary tent, next to Caleb's body. Bellamy had tried everything he could to get me to move but I wouldn't budge. He sat with me for most of the night but eventually he had to leave so he could help assist Madi in leading Wonkru before she left him to see Gaia.

While I was losing my shit last night, all the surviving Wonkru warriors were bowing down to Madi, their new heda, everyone including Octavia was willing to follow the young girl. Murphy told me about it while he sat with me, he also explained to me everything that happened while they were in the valley, how Raven was still trapped there with the prisoners pilot.

Bell decided it was best that I wasn't left alone so he set up shifts to make sure I was with someone at all times, right now it was Monty's turn to babysit me. He was rambling on about something that I wasn't paying much attention to when my stomach began to curdle and I had the sudden urge to throw up again

I covered my mouth and ran out of the tent into the morning air, letting myself be sick on the ground. Monty ran out behind me and held my hair back away from my face.

"You okay?" he asked once I finished throwing up the last of whatever was left in my stomach.

I nodded, wiping the corner of my mouth. "I'm fine." I think the fresh air was good for me because I was feeling slightly better. Not 100% but...better.

The army had lined up, as per Madi's orders, they were ready to go back into the gorge and fight the only thing they were missing was their leader who was in the tent with Gaia and the others who were wounded. Bellamy and Indra came looking for her.

"Is Madi in there?" Bell asked, I only nodded my head slightly as I was still slightly hunched over from being sick.  He turned to Monty who just shrugged his shoulders and the two went in the tent to find their commander. I personally took my time to work up the courage of re-entering.

I ended up staying outside the tent, sitting on the ground until Bell, Madi, and Indra came back out.

"Hey, Ari" Bellamy gently put his hand on my elbow as he bent down to my level, "I want you to stay here and help Jackson with the wounded. After we leave, wait exactly 30 minutes before following."

I nodded, not really having enough energy to fight him on it, "Okay, I will." His hands dropped to his side as he stood up began to follow the direction Madi went. "Bellamy, wait," I called out to him, pushing myself up off the ground. He looked over his shoulder at me as I quickly wrapped him in an unexpected hug. "Please be safe," I whispered, "I love you Bell,"

He seemed shocked at first but it didn't long for him to return the saying. "I love you too kid, everything is going to be okay, I promise."

I knew he meant well but my mind just wouldn't let me believe him as my grip around Bell's waste was tight and I didn't want to let go, for if I did I knew he would be among the first few to re-enter that gorge and there was nothing  I could do to stop another person I loved for getting hurt.

Eventually, he pulled from the hug and left me standing outside the tent with Monty watching awkwardly, close by. I spent the next 30 minutes trying to keep myself as busy as possible, doing anything I can to keep my mind off of the fact that Caleb's dead and Bellamy could possibly be killed or is killed and I just don't know it yet. I helped Jackson the best I could with going back in the tent as for some reason I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

The 30 minutes dragged on but I was able to accomplish a lot in the time with helping Jackson get the wounded ready for travel. The tent was cleared out of all injured who were on stretchers outside getting ready to be moved.
