Elle looked at me with fear in her eyes.
"Y-yes..... Come on... I have to get you out of he-" her father bursts through the door, yelling at her, not noticing me yet.
He stands about 6'2, probably weighs 210. Full of muscle.
I shrink back, intimidated, and try to not be noticed.
I don't want this to be worse for her because I'm here.
He grabs her and throws her down yelling and screaming. The smell of alcohol on him so strong it stings my nostrils.
"I'm sorry daddy....I'm sorry!" She screams as he brings his fist down on her face.
I jump out of her bed furious. I won't let some filthy cunt put his hands on her.
"Don't you dare fucking touch her you bastard!!" I yell as loud as I can and tackle him.
She lays on the floor, curled in a ball, but her father rolls us over and starts pounding at my face.
It happens so fast that everything goes quiet and he lays on top of me. So still.
That's when I see Ellen standing over us both, blood on her hands and a kitchen knife sticking out of his back.
I watch her hit her knees in tears.
I push the heavy man off me and rush to Elle embracing her tightly.
I rock her back and forth trying to sooth her.
"Its okay shh shh. You did what you had to shh."
She sits there sobbing and rocking. I rub her back still hugging her. Out of nowhere I kiss her forehead.
She stops crying and leans back and looking at me blushing.
I look away blushing deeply.
"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done t-that.."
"N-no.....it's fine...." She leans into me again and then I feel her shake and her gasp.
"Oh no! What am I gonna do?!"
I hold her again and look over her at the body. I wrinkle my nose in distate.
"We should get rid of the body and clean up the blood.."
"B-but," she smiles a bit, "It may work...he has no job and no one cares about my dad. He wouldn't be missed....."
I let go of her and walk over to her now dead father.
"Alright. I know a place where we can dump him." I immediately regretted what I said. I bite my lip praying she wouldn't guess my secret.
"That's not w- never mind." She just sits in a ball.
I frown and turn looking at her.
"Shit I'm sorry I shouldnt have said that."
"It's okay,.."
I take another look at her dad then walk over to her. I stand in front of her for a couple of seconds the sit down putting my arm around her.
"Why did I bring you here..... I'm such a idiot." She sighed loudly.
I pull her close to me. "You're not an idiot."
"I am..."
I kissed her cheek. "Nahh."
She pushes me away and gets up. "Look I can handle this....just....just leave."
I frown and get up. "Im sorry bout what happened today.."
I walk towards the door sadly, feeling rejected.
"Derik I'm sorry..."
I look at Elle.
"No, no it's fine. I think I'll leave now.." I walk out your room and down the stairs.
I hear her footsteps and when I turn she's at her doorway. "Please.... I'm sorry, please come back and help me...I-"
I walk back up the stairs. "Alright.."
"I'm sorry....."
I look her in the eyes. "Its okay."
"It's not okay... I yelled at you and...." She sighs. "Let's just get the body gone an clean the house."
I walk into her room. "It's really fine. Don't worry about it. But yeah let's get rid off this."
She sighs and walks to me and starts to take a sheet off her bed. I watch her for a couple of seconds then I go to her father.
I grunt as I lift him up onto my back. Under my breath I say, "Damn you're fucking heavy man.."
"I took the sheet off so you could wrap him up," she gestures at it in her hands.
I struggle to talk. "Oh. Alright. Okay." I place him down carefully.
She lays the sheet down and we roll him in it. Then I pick him up again.
"You want to come with me or do you want to stay here and clean up?"
"I'll stay to clean...."
"Alright." I look at her one last time and walk out the room and then outside.
Thank god it was dark out already. I didn't need anyone seeing me carry a dead body.
