i was listening to music, lying on my bed. sad. lonely... I'm just in one of those moments where I want someone to know how I feel but ik they won't understand. plus my friends don't really help anyways.. but my friend Vicki.

"hey are you ok?" Vicki said walking into my room. I shook my head and took out my headphones.

"you should be happy, were going to see your favorite person." I forgot I was going to see my white dad- I mean he just looks like my dad if he was white.

"yeah, I just feel bad about myself y'know.." I trailed

"why?" Vicki gave me a confused look

"well, I kinda like alex.. and uh I'm pretty sure he wouldn't like a girl like me." I rubbed my face and got up from my bed, Vicki just crossed her arms

"are you ok? of course he'll love you, he loves all of his fans."

"so you admit he just sees me as a fan." I crossed my arms like her

"no I didn't mean it like that." she said getting defensive

"I get it, don't beat yourself up." I laughed slightly and walked up to her

"sushi for dinner?" I smiled at her

"yes." she said in a serious tone, I laughed at her and shook my head, heading to the kitchen.
