"To be under the rain"

All I can hear is thunder,
As the lightning strikes its light.
The road is still there,
Standing wet and still.
Deafening sounds of raindrops
Slowly burning the voice of my teardrops.
As the cold breeze hugs my entirety
I can feel my sullen thoughts defying me.
I want to just end it all,
But I wonder if there's ever an ending.
If death means breathing
Then I'd gladly accept it.
If success means agony,
I'd rather lose a million times than to experience misery.
If the road is the only one who stood still,
I'd gladly stay standing here.
As those blinding lights occupies my wholeness,
I'll just close my eyes as I wait for an end.
As I wait for death, all I can hear is them,
Those people who can only speak for lies.
Now they're faking it again,
They don't really care about me.
Because they never did felt how it is,
The feeling of being under this never ending rain.
