"What if my dad starts to like her more than me like that one bitch did." She said meaning her mother as tears rolled down her face. "Don't cry mamas. You know your dad loves you babygirl." I say as she wiped her tears away. "I know." She said quietly.
I pulled up into the beach and turned to see Sam smiling at me. She took her seatbelt off and crawled onto my lap hugging me. "I love you." She sniffles. "I love you more baby." I say. We stayed in that position until mom called me to pick her up since she came with Sam. We drove back and got mom.
Samantha's POV We finally got home and I went outside in our backyard with Carlos and had a mini photo shoot with Gage as our photographer. I posted the pictures on my insta and I got a call from Tayler. "Hello?" I answered. He was crying. "J-Joey is in the hospital." He said lowly as his voice cracked. Omg.
"Wh-what why? What hospital?" I asked frantically. "Los Angeles Hospital." He answered. "I'll be there in a moment." I say not noticing that I was shaking. "Carlos tell everyone I went to the hospital to see Joey." I say running in the house grabbing whatever keys I saw first.
Thank god it was my dads Bugatti Chiron. That bitch goes fast. I raced off into the freeway passing every car that was in my way. After about 20 minutes I got to the hospital. I walked in and saw the whole gang there. I went up to Tayler and gave him a tight hug. We pull apart.
I wiped the tear that came down his face. "What happened?" I asked. "Charles." He whispered. "He came to his house and - and shot him right in the stomach and on his leg causing him to fall and hit his head really really hard." He cried as he hugged me. I hugged him back as my chin was on the top of his head.
I noticed that tears were coming down my face once again. "Are we allowed to see him?" I asked Zach. (Zach Clayton) he shook his head. We sat in the waiting room for about 3-4 hours until a nurse came out with a clipboard. "For Joseph?" She said and everyone in the waiting room stood up. "We can only have a couple of people at a time." She said with sympathy.
"Jen you and Sophie should go first." I say and everyone agreed. (Jen is his mom and Sophia is his sister FYI) she handed me a sleeping Kashius.(baby brother) I sat down and rocked Kashius. My phone rang showing Gage's name. "Hello?" I answered. "Hey I heard about what happened, are you okay?" He asked. "Yea I think so." I say. "We were all worried about you." He said.
"I'm sorry I just have to be here for him, he's like a little brother to me." I say. "I know, we will be here praying for him missy we love you." He said. "I love you guys too. Bye." I say and we hung up. After a while Jen and Sophia came out and me and Tayler went in. I held onto his hand not prepared to see in what state he is in.
I took a deep breath in as Tayler and I entered the room. My heart dropped as we saw Joey hooked up to wires. He opened his eyes and gave us a weak smile. We smiled though our tears still came down. "Hey buddy." My voice said a little shaky. "Hi." His voice cracked. Tayler sat in the seat next to the bed.
I walked in the other side and stood next to Joey. He lifted his hand and I smiled grabbing o to it. "Once I'm out of this bed, I promise y'all that bitch gon pay back." He said. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Joey chill man. You do that after you heal completely. We were all scared, we're glad your alive." Tayler said.
We stayed with Joey until we decided it was time to let the rest see him. "We will come back tomorrow buddy." Tayler said as I nodded. We walked out and said our goodbyes to everyone. Tayler and I went our ways and went him. I checked the time and saw it was 5 pm.
At Home I parked my dads car and walked into the living room seeing everyone huddled up in a giant blanket watching a movie. Oh right it was raining and it's super cold. I tried avoiding them by quietly walking upstairs by Alex's big ass mouth decided to say hello. "HI SAM!" He yelled. I facepalmed myself and glared at him. "Hey sweetie." My dad said.
"Hi." I breathed out giving everyone a fake smile. "Come here." Carlos said patting a seat next to him. I sighed and sat next to him. Everyone looked at me but I just ignored them. Slowly everyone started losing interest in the movie and began using their devices. I went up to my room and changed into something comfy.

I laid on my bed and opened my MacBook going on Netflix and began watching All American. (An:that's the best show no cap) I was on the third episode when someone knocked. "Come in." I say pausing the show. All the boys came in with chips chocolates and flowers.
"We thought we'd do something since we know the news about Joey really affected you." Gage said. I gave them a genuine smile and made room for all of them on my bed. Carlos and Alex on either side of the bed and me in between Gage and Colby.
