Dearie ( Rumplestiltskin x reader )

Henry's tall tales

You wake up and receive a call you go and answer it
" hello dearie" you hear and smile slightly " hello Mr. Gold" you say and laugh a little " I'm falling to say you can take the day off I'm not going to open the store today I'm going to be quite busy" you hear him say you slightly frown " o-ok" you say trying to hold the disappointed tone out of your voice but it don't work

" what's the matter dearie something wrong has something happened" he asks " oh no sir nothing just um watching a tv show something sad happened it's nothing" you laugh a little " any way bye" you say and end the call sighing you go get ready and decide to go for a walk

After walking for some time you find an old busted down park you slowly walk up to it and sit on a part that seems sturdy enough but as you do you here someone running up " oh hi there" you look up and see Henry " oh hello Henry" you smile

We walks up to you and sits by you " I never caught your name" he says looking up at you " oh my name is (y/n)" you smile his eyes widen and he grabs a fairy tale book names Once Upon A Time and opens it flipping threw pages

He looks at the picture then at you " huh I wonder why your name didn't change" he says curiously " what do you mean" you ask and he shows the book and points to a picture which almost looks like you

You laugh " Henry it's just a book it's probably just a coincidence that she looks like me" you say shaking your head but he flips a page showing rumple to you and then more characters to you saying who they are in storybrook but your mind stays on rumple

" I haven't been able to find out who mister gold is yet" he says but you just shake your head " come on I can't leave you here by yourself let's go to grannies or I can drop you off at home" you say and he nods his head

You both walk for some time with out saying anything until he says " bye (y/n)" which causes you to snap out of your thinking " wait what" you say and he points the house " this is where I live"he laughs and runs off to the door and inside

Once he closes the door you continue your walk to grannies diner as you walk you bump into someone " oh sorry" you say and look up to see Mr. Gold " oh hi rumple I mean mister gold"  you say but then correct yourself shaking your head with a nervous laugh

" I see you have been hanging around Henry" he laughs with a smile " y-yeah it's crazy how he thinks but he's a kid" you laugh and relax a little " well I better get going dearie" he says and starts to walk off

You continue as well going to grannies you grab some food and head back to your apartment you eat and then take a shower and go to bed still thinking about everything Henry told you
