"We are at war because-" I sat patiently as Tobirama paused probably to try and find The right words to say. "Well," he paused again as he scratched the back of his head. "I would say it was an incident, but it was more of a cliche love story that involved saving a someone from the bad guys."

He brought his hands forward clasping them together while placing his elbows on his knees. He leaned forward resting his chin on his hands as he looked to see how I would react. "Neji at the mere age of three was kidnapped during Hinata's birthday party by the hidden cloud. Hinata was the one that came to his rescue, but she killed the guy and now we are at war all because we defended our own" he explained calmly.

"That can't be all." I spoke as I, too, leaned forward in my seat as I pondered this information. "They wouldn't just start a war with us for that."

Tobirama smiled knowingly. "You're absolutely right. They demanded blood for blood," he continued. "but Hinata having the power she did, outright fought against the idea of Neji's father being killed for it. That decision is why we are at war."

I leaned back in my seat as I contemplated this information. "Then we need a new approach." I suggested.

"You are that approach, Reika" I shook my head.

"How did the other nations get involved?" I asked igboring his comeback.

"Ah, now that is the question you should be asking." He leaned back in his seat putting his hands on his chest fingers laced as he fiddled with his thumbs. "Hmmm," he hummed as he looked up seeming to think about it.

I sat patiently as I waited for his answer. "We don't know."

I gaped. How can they not know? "What do we know?" I asked hoping to get something.

He tilted his head down to look at me from a corner. Actually, when did he turn his head to begin with? "There is a third party, but you already know this."

I nodded my head in understanding, yes I did know this.

"Well, they didn't come together on a whim. And they don't seem to be following orders." He hinted.

"Someone brought them together for a reason, but it is clear from what you said, that this person doesn't lead them. So a fourth party?" I suggested.

He seemed to think of the possibility, "Could be. We have nothing that suggests this though?" He then looked straight at me with a cold demeanor . "But the words death defyier keeps coming up."

I was shocked. My eyes told that. "So you know of it" he said as his eyes narrowed.

I shook my head, "No. Maybe, I don't know. Those words haunt my sleep." I said.

His eyes widened at that. "How long?"

I looked to him bewildered. "What? Why-"

He cut me off getting loud. "How long have you had those dreams?!?"

Shadows covered my eyes as tears threatened to fall, "Since mom found out she was pregnant with Reita." I whispered tears falling down my face.

My lips trembled and my shoulders shook as I heard the floor creak before I felt arms wrapped around me.

I felt him put his cheek on top of my head as he pulled me to his chest. "What else?" He asked softly rubbing soothing circles on my back.

"I don't know how to explain it." I said truthfully.

You strangled me like an addiction You captured me like an affliction And I will be nimble and I will be quick. I will overcome all of it.

The shadows are falling they're falling, they're falling around me (I'm not afraid, not afraid) The wolves are closing, they're closing, they're closing in on me (I'm not afraid, not afraid, I'm not afraid)
