dear diary, it has been about three weeks since i have adopted this precious gem, and i could not have been anymore delighted to have another being in this desolate household i live in. everything appears well with the gem, though he still had no membrane or sights - which meant i have to prepare some for him.
i am in fact calling the gem a him, because to me, gem looks like a baby boy. anyways, i can't really apply the prosthetics until he's a little older - maybe in a few months or so. but overall, gem is the sweetest infant, and makes me feel like such a father.
father. i always to be one, but never found the perfect partner. well, it's okay, that ship has sailed a long agoas i am vet happy with my current state. farewell now, i must retire-gem is crying right now. poor soul, i miss him already.
